Oh man this gym has some of the most unfriendly staff going around. Every single time I went in they were rude and disinterested. The gym itself is a bit beaten up and the back left corner of the weight room honestly smell like something as died. They do offer free Wi-Fi and the gym is pretty spacious.
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. They will nickel and dime you at every opportunity. I signed up for a promo rate and signed a contract assuring that I would only be charge $15/month. Here I am six months later and I am being gaslighted by management that they never had such a promo. When I asked to freeze my account for an extended work trip, no one told me there would be a $15 fee to do so and that they would STILL CHARGE YOU THE FULL MONTHLY RATE. Today I cancelled my account. This was a terrible financial decision and I STRONGLY suggest anyone considering to sign up for this gym to look elsewhere.
This gym needs to be demolished and rebuilt, it is nasty. This is, BETHESDA, it's a wealthy area am I right? This gym should be state of the art! Best equipment, smoothie bar, more tv''s, good music playing, an upbeat vibe, etc. THis place is so depressing! LA fitness blows this out of the water. It's nice you guys have a pool, free towels, and 2 floors but your bathrooms are outdated, equipment is torn, falling apart and can spread disease. Not enough ab machines people always waiting for the one ab machine. The second floor is always hot too. The employees are not friendly at all and nobody seems to be running the place. They're always playing on their phones or talking to someone and look at you like your an inconvenience when you have to check in. Do not recommend.
My fav gym in the area, although we go a lot later in the day to miss the peak hours. If you go right after work, it will be busy. Nice things: they have a pool, free weights, machines, classes, trainers, stretching areas and more. I really enjoy this gym.

Heck of a value. Has everything I want - pool, spin bikes, free weights, rowing machines, etc. Not perfect - certain equipment in disrepair, pool is a bit warm and busy with classes, can be crowded. In over priced Bethesda, this place is a gem - $40/month is a steal.

Great gym. Reasonable prices. And the have a student discount.
The facilities are clean and the machines seem to be well kept, but there is little to no instruction on how to use the equipment for new comers. The trainers also appear to be intent on selling you personal training packages, rather than really focusing on addressing proper form and instruction.
I know only one WSC facility, the one on Wisconsin Ave near Bradley. The facility is excellent. Staff is courteous and skilled. Facility is clean and well-maintained. Equipment is sufficient for the number of members. Finally, it has an indoor pool for laps, swim lessons and aquarobiics.
Reasonably priced, conveniently located, well equipped, with unacceptably limited bike parking out front and parking validation for the garage below. The free weights area is perpetually disorganized, with weights scattered and not put away properly. Seemingly zero management effort is put into organizing weights, which leads to a frustrating work-out experience. Easily a five star rating if bike racks were added and management took some pride in maintaining the free weight area.
Best thing out this gym is the amount of space and locker room. They do need to update a good deal of the equipment and the shower area needs to be redone. Staff is friendly-ish.
