Beautiful studio. Great personal trainers. Stellar customer service. Was in town for a work trip, found this place and went there for two sessions (one personal training + one pilates). If I lived in Baltimore, I'd be a regular! Please give this hidden gem a try. You won't regret it!

Came to the Sanctuary for help with some long-standing running/sports injuries and alignment issues. I've been really impressed with the sessions - I've always felt like I'm in extremely professional and trustworthy hands, and have been really happy with progress on strains and injuries I assumed I was never going to shift. I leave every time feeling stronger but also more open and with better posture - like a cross between the feeling I'd get after a work-out and a sports massage. Plus it's a really beautiful space.

Visits to Sanctuary Bodyworks has become a weekly ritual for me! The studio itself is absolutely beautiful, and I love getting in my yoga and barre workout sessions here. I always take yoga on Monday nights with Nila and barre on Wednesday nights with Molly. They're both amazingly motivating instructors who truly care about their students and helping them achieve their goals. I always leave every class feeling uplifted, stronger and sweatier :) I highly recommend this studio and both of these instructors if you're looking get to toned up!

Excellent equipment pilates sessions with Farida. Farida is an amazing instructor and extremely conscientious. She takes the time to ensure that you are aligned correctly and that you work hard! Not one second is wasted during our sessions. The reformer equipment is top notch as well compared to other studios/gyms.

I love attending Joan's Zumba classes here. She is an incredible dancer and her love of dancing shows through every class. She's always enthusiastic and it's infectious! I can walk into class after a bad work day and leave smiling and feeling amazing. She uses a nice mix of dance styles and music, making sure we target every area of the body during class. I feel exhausted and yet renewed at the end of every Zumba class. I actually tried Zumba classes at a gym and I was so disappointed in the quality of their instructors and dancing; I had to return to Sanctuary Bodyworks and Joan!

I would attend Joan's barre class (equally amazing as her Zumba class), but it's right after Zumba and I'm too tired to exercise anymore! So instead I go to barre with Molly on Wed and tone those muscles that just did cardio the day before. I find barre extremely challenging and a great work out. Molly mixes her barre class with some yoga, ensuring to always tell us modifications; the most important thing is to exercise without hurting yourself. Barre is a lot of very small movements, but they add up to a great workout.

I almost canceled my training session today with Brandon, due to a sore and stiff neck that developed over the past few days. But I'm glad I went in. Brandon worked on my neck and all the places from the back of my head to my lower back, that were all connected to the pain I was experiencing. Some very specific stretches got deep into the area and I felt much better leaving than I did arriving. I'm glad I went. Thanks, B!

I've been training here for over a year now. There are 4 trainers and they all have different "style" of workout regimen, so it doesnt get boring like ordinary PT. Highly recommended.

I have a Pavlovian calming response as soon as I come into Sanctuary. I try to come early to let it soak in. Whether it is a group class or personal training, I know every time that I'll be feeling wonderful when I leave!
