I love attending Joan's Zumba classes here. She is an incredible dancer and her love of dancing shows through every class. She's always enthusiastic and it's infectious! I can walk into class after a bad work day and leave smiling and feeling amazing. She uses a nice mix of dance styles and music, making sure we target every area of the body during class. I feel exhausted and yet renewed at the end of every Zumba class. I actually tried Zumba classes at a gym and I was so disappointed in the quality of their instructors and dancing; I had to return to Sanctuary Bodyworks and Joan!
I would attend Joan's barre class (equally amazing as her Zumba class), but it's right after Zumba and I'm too tired to exercise anymore! So instead I go to barre with Molly on Wed and tone those muscles that just did cardio the day before. I find barre extremely challenging and a great work out. Molly mixes her barre class with some yoga, ensuring to always tell us modifications; the most important thing is to exercise without hurting yourself. Barre is a lot of very small movements, but they add up to a great workout.
