This is hands down the best gym experience I have ever had. Sean makes personalizes workouts that load into your app each week, so you know your workouts coming up. When you get to the gym, either Sean or one of the other great coaches will make sure you know what you are doing and are there to assist in anyway.
Some nice things about the set up: never a massive amount of people since all clients of Sean and team; monthly appointments with Sean to go over progress and any roadblocks, over just nice people here.

I was looking to make a positive, sustainable change, and Sean's comprehensive, highly personalized approach to fitness is perfect.
The environment that Sean has cultivated is welcoming and supportive while also geared to push you forward. Coach Andrew and Adam are experienced, encouraging, and constructive. Gym members are of diverse backgrounds and fitness levels.
I've had such a positive experience at OPEX that I have a hard time thinking about ever leaving Baltimore because this is as good as it gets in terms of health focused, no BS, customized, safe fitness.
OPEX is the perfect gym for anyone looking to maximize their time to reach their goals. Each coach is extremely knowledgeable and really takes the time to get to know you individually in order to provide the best support, motivation and instruction possible. I can't recommend it highly enough!!

In town for a conference and needed a place to train. Unreal facility, spoke with Andrew, who was the coach on the floor at the time, super friendly. Just a great overall experience.

SBSC focuses on the whole person and builds an individualized program that factors in gym skills, nutrition, and lifestyle. The coaches want to make sure that you reach your goals and they have the knowledge and experience to get you to where you want to go, whatever your skill level.
I've been lifting at SBSC for 7 months and doing personalized training with Sean for 3.
- The gym has a huge number of barbells and squat frames, so you never have to wait in line to do your lift.
- While the gym looks like a crossfit, Sean's training model is personalized, meaning he starts by doing a physical + lifestyle evaluation and discussing your goals, then designs a detailed fitness plan to get you there. So far I've had really good results.
- Sean can work with anyone (former D1 athletes, couch potatos, w/e).
- They always have coaches present in the gym to help with form, answer questions and provide general assistance. This is a huge plus for people who are not former athletes and don't have a ton of direction when it comes to fitness/weightlifting.

Great gym, great CrossFit Box. The coaches really put time and effort into the programming and I can vouch for the personal training there. Tons of classes available and all of the coaches are really smart on weightlifting form.
