Facility is new and has good equipment and is not crowded when I go. I work out five days a week and their men's locker room is in good condition. It's a great place to work out.
I have joined only three weeks ago, but so far so good. Equipment is new and works well, staff is nice, pool is great. The only thing I am bit disappointed is the classes. I used to go to Gold's and their classes were great. I will keep sampling more and than I will post an update.
The gyms great. Always able to get help from someone when I need it. The equipment is always cleaned .
Could not print guess pass online. Mgr told me to come in...I did on day agreed...everyone in some meeting and desk personnel could no do anything....complete waste of time. Parking lot was also very crowded....it is crumbed into a small mall.

Left this gym. It gets stupid busy but the main reason is that most of the patrons are disrespectful and leave their weights all over the place. Don't wipe their equipment and hog the machines and stare at the women. This location is new but it's like a third world country.
Nice and clean but somewhat cramped and smaller than other gyms. Staff is not super friendly but not rude. Locker room is super small but clean. Anything is better than Wheaton and rockville
Pros: Newer facilities comparing to other LA Fitness in the area. The janitor is doing a good job keeping this place clean.
Cons: No Jacuzzi or sauna. Fewer classes.
The pros- The equipment and the place are new. Cons- Way too crowded, the fitness staff worries about paid personal training sessions only, equipment is hardly ever available with free weights strewn about all over the floor, very little gym etiquette since there is hardly anyone to enforce it, vaccuming the cardio area when the place is packed ( nevermind the dust and other debris that are lifted by the vaccum that folks can inhale).
It is conveniently located to me which why I keep going.
Despite the fact that it does not have Jacuzzi or sauna it is a great gym i love going there

Has small window for a slow time when you can workout without waiting for a machine/rack. The dumbbell section is ALWAYS MESSY. Rarely will you see a weight in its designated location. And if you went to high school around this area, be ready to see a ton of old classmates. Had to leave this gym for all those reasons and go back to Golds gym right next door.

This LA Fitness is very nice and clean. Management does an excellent job making sure this facility is well kept and clean. By far the best LA Fitness I have ever been. All the staff are helpful. I was greeted by the general manager, Chris, who did a great job in giving me a tour of the gym. He made it a very pleasant experience and was very informative when telling me about their options. I highly recommend this gym!

Chris was very informative when setting up my membership, gave me a tour of the new gym. Love this gym, just wished they had a sauna and steam room.

Nice gym. Its clean and I had no problem getting a great workout even at 530 in the evening.
Really love the amenities. It's clean and there s always a paper dispenser available somewhere to wipe your equipment down. Manuel who is the janitor there does a great job at keeping this place clean. He s always there making sure that the floor is clean and the trash empty. I enjoy thanking him in person when I see him.
The staff is very friendly and it's just nice to go in and train there.
Parking is easy and convenient.
I am glad I left the Downtown Silver Spring location for this location.
Had the pleasure of meeting the new GM his name is Kenny. Very professional and passionate about what he does. He cares about his clients and the over all well being of their experience. Great place to work on your wellness!
Terrible customer service. Got charged a "guest fee" for attending a club by my parents house all of the sudden despite the fact I've been going to the club for months without any charges or "guest fees". My membership is supposed to include all the clubs in the area (I live in Arlington) and as I stated before I've been attending this club for months without problem. When I told them them this and they stated it was a mistake someone missed (I guessed they missed it for a prolonged period of time) and I could only attend a club in the STATE I live in. So technically I can attend a club in Richmond (2 hours away) but not one in Aspen Hill (30 mins away). Don't sell me an "Area" package then you dolts without specifying it's a "state" package.
Why get rid of the toilet seat covers?!
Something so essential, removed? The showers are nice at least. I wish there was a sauna at this location. Staff is normally rude and I like that lately we can scan ourselves in, in order to avoid speaking to the staff. Wheaton staff are nicer people.
The brand new gym is nice & clean but very basic. (no steam room or Sauna) The group class room could really use a few ceiling or floor fans, it gets really hot half way through the class. Ladies room desperately need hair dryers! After the Aqua fit class in winter, it's difficult to leave the gym with wet hair. The gym also needs a suggestion box, so many people want to express their concerns & suggestions but there's no one to turn to. Also, most group classes are either very early in the morning or late at night, nothing in between. I wish they could add more classes and instructors, especially Yoga. There's only 1 instructor at Aspen Hill location. If she wasn't the right fit for you, you are pretty much out of luck.

Like this gym, nice and neat and all new equipment, seems like theyou are still working on some rooms that have no idea what they're going to be, but so far I like this gym.
