I’ve travelled all over the world and have train at the best and most iconic gyms in the world. Red’s is in my top five for sure. I stop in for a workout whenever I’m passing through Lafayette. I actually met Red the last time I was in (but he wouldn’t let me take a pic with him). I would actually consider moving to Lafayette so that I could train there regularly. They have a great variety of newer equipment but what I love is the old school stuff that we used 40 years ago. First generation Nautilus stuff and MedX stuff that hit the targeted muscles just right. i find it funny/odd that when you check out the best gyms in Lafayette on yelp there is no mention of Red’s. If you like to lift, play, relax, or get in shape you have to check out Red’s. It’s on par with Quads Gym in Chicago, Bev Frances’ place in Long Island and METROFLEX in DFW. Love it!
Comprehensive health club. Friendly and helpful staff. This club has it all, top of the line equipment, classes, pools, spa, cold plunge, tennis, outdoor and indoor track, and so much more. I never get tired of staying active since there are so many options!
One size fits all at Reds. They have everything you could possibly be looking for under one roof fitness related.
An amazing gym! it has everything you in one place and the kids love the pool in the summer time! even when its busy there are so many machines and classes to take its awesome all around as a gym. worth the cost.
Beautiful, clean facility with a very friendly staff! However you like to workout, you'll find it at Red's. They have great swimming, both indoor and out, as well as a therapeutic pool and large cold plunge. There is a very large family area with a kid's pool and lazy river and separate toddler splash area.
Great aerobics, yoga, pilates, multiple gym areas, boxing ring and specialty athletic training. They are also have a tremendous tennis facility with indoor and outdoor courts. The outdoor courts have different surfaces to improve your game. It's a great place to get fit!
This is my home away from home. This place will make you enjoy your fitness journey. No longer is going to the gym a chore that you dread, it's an exciting activity you look forward to when you're are Red's. The membership is worth every penny.
Great place to spend your morning- work out, swim, eat a healthy lunch, play basketball... prices are reasonable for what you get.
Over price, arrogant employees and then members. If you want to be around naked people it's a great place to go. Way too much medicating, i e self-medicating going around that place

Hands down the best gym in Lafayette. It's has everything you could want in a gym: indoor and outdoor lap pools, kid pools, lazy river, weights, cardio, extensive classes, racquetball, tennis, basketball, smoothie bar, day care, and a women's only area with weights and cardio.

Been a member of this gym since 1996. It's the ONLY gym that offers a total body workout. The aquatic area is amazing. I love this gym. Whenever I come home, they treat me like a QUEEN!

I grew up at Red Lerille's. I've since lived in Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Geneva, Switzerland, and I still don't think you can find a better health facility anywhere. Since my family joined almost 38 years ago, Red's has stayed on top of workout trends, offering all the latest equipment and classes as well as staff to facilitate. He spares no expense in accommodating his loyal clients. At the same time, he remains true to the basics in terms of free weights, well maintained tracks and tennis courts, swimming pools, etc. Red's has something for everybody, including a very welcoming staff and community. It has always been and will continue to be home to me!

They have a basketball court, a few different gyms like a kids gym, three pools, many tennis courts, an inside track, an outside track, a cold pool, a jacouzie, and a racquet ball room you can rent. You can also earn free shirts by working out.
My family and I love this place. Red's is a great place to get fit and healthy without the worries of the outside world. I don't believe in God but that has nothing to do with Red's. I believe in the 2nd amendment, but that doesn't have anything to do with Red's. I judge Red's by the atmosphere it provides indoors not what its employees do on their own free time.
Just read the Facebook posts of one of your employees, Mykle Martello, calling the Sandy Hook school shooting a hoax. As a family member of one of the deceased, I am disgusted and deeply offended. I am shocked that someone can spread such horrible lies without consequence, and I will ensure your members know what kind of people you hire.

Without question the finest facilities in the South, if not the country. The number of quality programs and amenities are too numerous too mention. Check out their website to see everything or take a free tour. Don't even consider another fitness club, just join Red's.
Don't cheat your self out of experiencing Red's lifelong pursuit of building the most bad___ gym in the world.Yes i said world. I thank Red every time i see him. We are privileged to Have him. This gym is easily the best gym I've ever been to or will ever go to. Red's although mostly a gym is not only a gym there's also a restraunt and bar.
The best health club in Lafayette. There is a ton of things to do here. There is four weight rooms, including one for teens and another for women, there are two heated indoor pools, a heated outside pool, and a pool outside with a large slide, lazy river, and play area for little kids. There are racquetball courts, indoor tennis courts, plus outdoor clay tennis courts that are available. An outdoor track surrounds the tennis courts and has obstacles to train with, or you could use the indoor track that is above the large basketball court.
There are men and women locker rooms to shower, each with saunas and very large hot tubs that are more like medium sized pools. There is also a large ice pool to soak your aches away.
Free classes are also offered to members everyday and a great way to get motivated to get in shape.
Red's has it all and for the price you get way more than any other offering in the area.

Reds is family run and owned. Red Lerille is there almost everyday greeting people! Reds has many different ways to get in your exercise! Free classes with your membership! I especially love the water aerobics and the awesome instructors! For parents with small children, there is a nursery and a wonderful children's pool and play area!
