Great facility, with many amenities. Friendly staff and helpful instructors. Multiple types of yoga classes and class times though out the day. Several pricing plans to fit your needs.

This yoga studio brings a fresh and bright space that makes it inviting to flow in. The new owners have made some adjustments that has made a difference in the overall vibe of the place! Not to mention the schedule now offers more of a variety of yoga styles (yay to yin and restore and renew classes!). I throughly enjoy coming here as my home yoga studio.

I have been at this studio for almost 2 months and love it. Everyone is very friendly, and I have never been pushed to go beyond my limits. The temperature of the room is consistent in all the classes I have attended, and there are a variety of classes offered each day.

Hot Yoga Louisville is so incredibly welcoming and accepting of all abilities, shapes, and sizes. The facilities are clean, bright, and perfectly suited for a range of classes (including lower heat Yin and restorative classes too!). The rates and various packages are reasonably priced and the staff and instructors are very professional and knowledgeable. Owners, Emily and Caden, have set a wonderful tone and atmosphere at the studio. I truly enjoy being there.

Instructor was incredibly rude. HEAT Yoga down the street is much better and has a much more professional staff.

Gorgeous space, warm & welcoming community, best teachers in the city, Betsy runs a dynamic studio, the benchmark by which I judge all other studios. Her team is friendly, attentive, talented & devoted. She is a Louisville legend. Worth every penny! I lived in Louisville for four & a half years. My time at Betsy's grounded me, provided me an incredible network of genuinely positive-minded yogis, challenged me with incredible work outs, and provided structure for self-reflection & self-growth.

I took my first hot yoga class at this studio on September 27, 2014 with Lori. I have gained weight after quitting smoking and am not in good athletic shape. She was very encouraging and informative before class and it was under her guidance that I was even able to stay in the hot studio for the whole class. I was instantly addicted. I paid for the initial unlimited monthly deal and coordinated my schedule with my daughter's father and work in order to go as much as possible. After taking 5 classes, I decided to attend an "Intro" class with Charm to get more one on one attention with my awkwardly attempted beginner's poses. Charm was absent and in her place was an older, heavily made up, minimally clothed woman. I am a size 8/9, however, I was the biggest girl in the small beginners class. This woman asked me 3 times in front of everyone before starting class if "I was sure" I had done yoga before. Um, I'm an adult. Yes, I know where I spend my time and money, lady. She didn't improve on her attitude or communication from the minute she stepped in front of us to the end of class. She berated every single "beginner" in the class saying things like "Why can't you do this?" "Are you even trying?" She forced two other females deeper into their poses in class risking serious injury for a true beginner. It took all of my "yoga power" to stay in the class for the whole amount of time witnessing this type of treatment and after being publically embarrassed. The final straw was when this instructor went around and made sure we were all "not blinking" in Savasana pose (simply laying on your back a/k/a corpse pose). Whoever thinks this behavior embodies any of the principals of yoga is out of their mind. When I was finally able to leave the studio and look up the instructor, I was horrified it was "Betsy" - the owner. I gave up my remaining 2 weeks of unlimited classes and began attending classes at other studios - most of whom gave me a free class to try after hearing my horror story about Betsy. I do not recommend this studio for anyone other than a seasoned, advanced to expert level yogi unless you have a very thick skin and deaf ears.

Love this studio. Teachers push and encourage you to do and be your best. If you listen you'll love the results.

I've been attending Betsy's hot yoga for about a year now. This is a professional and practice oriented spot ran by a very much experienced owner ( Betsy) who strives for perfection and attention to detail in all her classes and instructors. Now, I would be lying if I told you that it's going to be easy your first time trying this type of yoga, but I will definitely tell you that you'll see results within your first week.
If you stick to the rules and listen to your instructor magic will happen. This is hard work and it is not for everyone! I have seen many people come in and then complain about the class for minimal aspects and small details that mainly were partially their fault. ( not the instructor's)
So if you are a yoga fanatic and is someone who is willing to take your practice to the next level, then I highly recommend this yoga studio. If you're simply not willing to put in the work that is required in order to achieve the correct results and benefits of hot yoga, then at least try it for a week before making negative reviews.
I recommend Mary Ann's classes, only because she is in my opinion the best instructor Betsey's got, plus She's one of the most caring people I've met since I moved down to ky from ohio.
