Our home town AF. Ryan makes this place great.
Been a member for a few years. I believe it is the only 24hr gym in Louisville to also have a fully stocked free weight section (Smith Machines don't count). Four squat racks!
Member for a year and repeated requests for a proper cleaning go unfulfilled. Small but well-equipped. Not much interaction with owners or staff.
So easy. Go where you want 24 hours a day and it is never crowded.
Good place. New equipments. Not crowded. Little expensive then other competitors.

Not too big to where you have to travel to each end of the gym for every piece of workout equipment, but also not too small to where they don't have specific equipment that you need. I like the security process of needing a chip to scan at the door in order to get inside but I don't necessarily like there not being a worker there at night in case of a chip malfunction like mine always likes to have.

Love this place best in Lou by far.

8 year member of a Texas branch. I love my home Anytime Fitness. I've Been to Anytime Fitness in every state in the lower 48's (except for Maine). Up and down the coasts and inland of California and across the rest of the nation. Never had issues with using the decline bench at the bar rack to bench weight at ANY of the past locations I've been to.
It's an actual weight lifting movement. After reading one person's review about catching heat for using the decline bench to do decline bench presses and making a little noise when racking the bar, I think I'll go to one of the other locations while I'm here. Sounds pretty ridiculous to me especially for an Anytime Fitness. Also I noticed how the Owner likes to belittle the folks who have given negative reviews from their various experiences here. Not to mention he looks like he's never lifted a bar in his life judging by his Anytime website photo.
Sets the tone for me perfectly.
Thank you fellow Google reviewers!
The gym is on the smaller side and has a limited selection of machines. The free weights are a little beat up. Also, couldn't find any lockers to secure my belongings while I worked out.
Good basic gym. Can get busy certain times. Usually clean except there's an older guy who walks around barefoot in here a lot.
If you are considering joining definitely try the 7 day membership, I did not and I regret it. After being here I want to cancel and I am stuck in 1 year membership. All gyms are independent I wish I would of joined the gym on Shelbyville road. It is bigger and offers more.
The gym owner Chris Furlow debited over $800.00 for the last year-and-a-half from my bank account, and I did not know about it! My wife and I moved out of town and called to cancel our membership; instead, Chris suggested that we suspend the membership and follow up in a few months. He never called us, never emailed us, and never in any way reached out . . . ever. So we thought our membership lapsed, like an insurance policy or cable hookup. Instead, we somehow overlooked the monthly deductions from our financial statement (since we usually checked our account only to ensure our cheques from work were deposited and that rent was paid). After discovering this much to our surprise, we tried to reach Chris several times by phone and email, thinking that this was a mistake, and then I finally called ABC Financial, who handles the accounts at Anytime Fitness. After a whole month, Chris finally emails me and says that he will try to see what can be done about a reimbursement and will follow up later with me and my wife. After several days go by, I call ABC Financial and discover that Chris already spoke to the reps there and informed them not to issue any reimbursement to me and my wife! So in summation, Chris suspends our membership (when we really just wanted to cancel it), says he will follow up in a few months, does not follow up at all, we receive no notification that the monthly deductions have been reinstated, and then well over a year later decides not to reimburse me and my wife our money! Yes, over $800.00 taken from us; and in my opinion this was really unethical, unprofessional, and just plain slimy. I will NEVER do business with this man again, and I implore all of you to take your money elsewhere; many other gyms have nicer facilities, better customer service, and an actual code of ethics.
I called to cancel my membership due to I play collegiate sports and no longer needed a gym because my school provided one and they charged my account still now I'm short on buying my textbooks..
I love my Anytime Fitness! I frequently travel for work so it's great to be able to access one of their gyms when I'm on the road, but my primary gym off Hubbards is my absolute favorite. The staff is AMAZING, and make your gym experience both personal and rewarding. I am a cleanliness freak and I've never had a single complaint about anything being messy or dirty. It's a warm and welcoming gym environment that people of all ages would feel comfortable working out in. Been a member for a year, and no complaints!
