The community surrounding 502PY is so beautiful and I always feel uplifted when walking out of the studio. The instructors are very good and as you continue practicing at the studio everyone soon learns your name. I feel wanted and challenged and loved.
Everyone was welcoming from the staff to the students. Awesome sweat with a challenging yet simple flow. Just all around good vibes.
Great yoga studio that offers hot power yoga to those folks who are willing to get a little sweaty. The classes are varied and the instructors all bring something unique to their class offerings, so the classes are never boring. I love that each practice is rooted in the same set of poses, because even though they may be modified or shuffled around, I love knowing what to expect so I don't spend class time looking around bewildered, trying to figure out what pose to do. And their intro deal can't be beat: 40 days for $40, what do you have to lose?
This is such a great community and I'm very grateful that I took a chance on coming to my first class. I've never felt more able to just be myself and honor my own practice each time I come. It has truly been a life changer for me.
Love the community vibe. I loved how every class you can jump in on and be a beginner or an expert. No one ever made me feel less than for being a novice. Everyone is very nice. Tons of class times which was great for my crazy schedule. Absolutely love this place and so sad to leave because I'm moving!
This studio is very welcoming and warming. They know you, they see you, and they care about you. I notice now that I have a small, but incredibly mighty, tribe.
I am new to yoga, have tried several studios and this is the first one that just feels right. All the teachers and assistants have been helpful and encouraging. I love the variety of class choices and times. Mostly, I love that the majority of classes are geared to any level from beginner to advanced, there's always options to modify.

There are so many things I like about this studio... the first is the people. The welcoming m, supportive, motivating, loving people who are there. Not just the instructiors, but the other people in the classes who support each other and really connect to build a community. The studio is a beautiful place, always inviting, clean, and easy to navigate. The classes are challenging, but I always know to meet myself where I am and do my best. No judgment or whatever. This is just a great place to focus on myself and it helps me feel good on so many levels.

I haven't done yoga in years. Loved it here! I'm thinking about attending class again soon.
Went with the women's rugby team and had a great class. Melissa did a great job of making everyone feel welcome and seemed to know everyone's name by the end of class. She also did a great job of providing gentle feedback on how to improve your positioning. The workout was very fast, and I think would be great for experienced Yogis, but some of the girls in the class were very new to yoga and I think it was often not clear to them what the positions were. Overall had a great experience.

I love the inviting environment. I love the encouragement of the instructors. I love the meditation that is incorporated in the practice, this helps me to be mindful and present. I love the cool lavender towel at the end of class. I love the karma classes that give back to the community. I love that no matter where you are in your practice, you feel comfortable in any class. I'm really just in love with 502 power yoga and everything it is and that it stands for.

First and only yoga studio that I have stepped foot in and I feel like I found my place. The instructors and other staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Practically all of them knew my name after just a few visits. The studio itself is very clean and cozy and has enough blocks and straps for everyone in class. At first I was concerned about the size of the room but now I appreciate the coziness and ease in which heat can be built. A wide variety of classes are offered all throughout the day and evening so this studio is convenient for people with all types of schedules. A lucrative reward system is offered that can pay off in the form of merchandise, workshop fees, or even membership. Lastly, they pass out cold lavender towels toward the end of practice for savasana. What more could you ask for?

I love that you can get a different experience at each studio. The teachers are great at meeting you where YOU are in your practice. Everyone is so welcoming each time you enter the studio. Being a newer yogi, it makes all the difference.
Since my very first day of walking into 502 Power Yoga, I have been made to feel like part of the Yoga family. I have been welcomed, embraced and empowered to meet myself where I am, at this moment, to grow and get stronger. I have jumped in and enrolled in many things to push myself, and all along the way, the 502 Power Yoga team is there cheering me on.
I've lost 16 pounds since I started coming to 502PY. At first I wasn't sure if I would like the fitness aspects integrated in my yoga practice, but now I can't get enough. I leave class feeling energized in my body and my soul. It's the best multi-tasking I do.
I am a huge advocate for 502 Power Yoga and have tried to get at least 4 friends to try out the studio (it does seem its a high hurdle but I'm looking forward to getting some of them in.) I think that the staff/teachers are warm and caring but also full of "tough love." What I mean is that they do a great job of making you feel good to be in the studio, and also to push you to greater internal achievement (as a few of them mention in class that you shouldn't stand in your own way to be able to achieve beyond what you think you are capable of.) I've found that my yoga practice has given me more energy and motivation in other parts of my life, and I'm grateful to be a part of it.
I had no idea what to expect from my first class there. I was nervous, and didn't think I'd even make it through my first class alive! What I found was a welcoming environment, full of instructors and staff who were patient, and met me exactly where I was in my practice, which was VERY basic. Great studio space in both the Highlands and Southern Indiana, right across the bridge. Even with my crazy work schedule, they offer so many classes throughout the day that I can always find one to fit in my schedule. I became hooked. I've always been into weight training and spin, but nothing has made me feel like I have gotten a total, full body workout like Heated Power Vinyasa Yoga. It truly works every square inch of every muscle in your body. 70+ classes and 25 lbs lighter, I'm absolutely hooked. I never knew what it was like to feel grounded both physically and spiritually, but this studio has provided the space to grow in so many ways. Louisville is fortunate to have a studio like this, I couldn't recommend it enough.
I attended my first ever Vinyasa class (and only my fifth yoga experience in general) with Melissa as the instructor. Melissa was patient, kind and encouraging. I never felt like an outsider or a "new kid" on the block. My 502Power Yoga and Vinyasa first class experience left me on a "personal high" for the rest of the day. I am already planning my return visit next and cannot wait. Thank you, Melissa!!
A great yoga studio. Makes you feel powerful. I did the 40 days new student pass. Great community classes for $5. Warm & friendly staff.
I love how they push us to go further and further in our practice everyday and get out of our heads for the hour/hour + we're in there!! It's one of the only things I'm willing to actively make time for in my busy schedule. YOU ALL ROCK! :)
I'm a fitness professional and this is one of the best workouts I've ever done! It's not only physical but also clears your mind and makes you feel AWESOME afterwards! Come here if you want a hard workout, a mental break and to leave sweaty and feeling free!
