Very cool location.

Great little gym if you're in downtown Louisville. I stopped in while traveling for work and was able to get a well priced day pass to squat bench and deadlift.

The owner accommodates travelers at $25/week. The gym is 24 access with a key card and has everything for a good workout. It is not necessarily staffed 24h, however, so you may have to deal with poor gym etiquette by others (read: people who actually don't know how to lift, but grunt as if they do) or questionable music choices, but I would still recommend for the price/equipment/location. Can't be beat!

$25 for a weeks worth of 24hr gym access..no fancy machines basics only, but you can definitely get a good workout in.

Been going here since it opened. Kent knows how to make you not fat and make it hurt so good!

Perfect if you are looking for a hiit kind of workout. Management and staff is awesome. A gem tucked into the corner of downtown (by bat factory).

Best gym for those who like barbell training, powerlifting or crossfit. Has four complete racks, a sleigh, a couple cardio machines, free weights, belts, resistance bands, and a large studio for group classes, spin bikes, trx bands.

I was in town for a long weekend and was having trouble finding a gym that was neither crowded with "machines" nor a xfit box. GWF was exactly what I needed: Four squat racks, bumper plates, kettlebells, dumbbells, a sled, resistance bands and plenty of open floor space to use it all. Kent was very helpful and accommodating and I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again.

If you're looking for a convenient and friendly place to workout in downtown Louisville, take the time to check out Glassworks Fitness (located in the basement of the Glassworks building). Not only does this gym have all the typical equipment you might expect (treadmills, weights, elliptical machines, etc.) but you'll also find more unusual options including TRX training equipment. And when it comes to working out, you can choose between doing it solo, participating in group classes, or getting some individualized training designed to help you gain strength and stay injury-free. Best of all, this place is friendly and relaxed, with a real community feel...the perfect place to work off some stress and get into shape.
