To me Chestnut YMCA is EVERYTHING! Very caring, family oriented, friendly environment, very active with the children, and supportive of parents. My son passed away 11/09/2019 and they have made my life easier during these times. I have reliable care for my children also the emotional support for us all is amazing. Thank you Chestnut YMCA staff

The YMCA childcare at this facility is wonderful. The staff takes great care of the children and keeps parents informed of daily activities. My child was in this daycare from 8wks-9 months and we only left due to job relocation.

Jenny, the director, is very helpful and caring. I would highly recommend this YMCA childcare center to families who work downtown and want high quality, affordable childcare in the Louisville area.

Very nice it has a gym and a summer camp among other features my kid went there in the summer of 2017 and had a blast. I fully recommend you send your kids here.

LOVE this YMCA. I like the feel of the atmosphere that it has and I enjoy the fact that I do not feel intimidated or overwhelmed by the equipment.

Horrible customer service! Called up there and spoke with a Ricardo or Cardo as he answer the phone a second time after he place me on hold to transfer me to nowhere and after 5 minutes hung up the phone. I was trying to change the method of payment I was paying my membership dues which I have done over the phone calling a different location and know it's something the front desk attendees take care of. When I recalled I thought I would finally get some assistance all I had was my bank account information on hand and instead of mr. Richardo simply explaining to me that they can't accept account information he repeatedly ask for the name on my card. I only got him to stop condescendingly asking for my card information which I told him upfront I didn't have the physical card just account and routing number he finally tells me he can't accept it. It wasn't until l got off the phone with him and checked the number did I realize I had called the Chestnut street Y instead of the Downtown Y where I go. The employees at the Downtown location are awesome and the facility is well kept, this in the only reason I will continue to do business with this gym. This is going on my 3rd year at the Y and this is the only bad experience I've had with them. They are only receiving 1 star because I couldn't give them 0.
