I've had one of the worst experiences at this YMCA. They are discriminatory and rude to their members and hardly deserve what we pay monthly since are treated this way.
I agree... how does a place not have a trial period. Like try a week free. Instead they want $10 a day for a guest pass or 38$ a month.. not worth it
Couldn't try out the gym to see if I liked it without paying them first.
Good place to get a decent workout done. Friendly staff and good equipment. Smaller than other YMCA's in town but it has most of the amnesties of a bigger YMCA in town. The location is bit hidden from the street but usually packed after 5PM.
Even with all the construction going on they still managed to give you a wonderful experience and very friendly and very helpful
On April the swimming pool was closed for two weeks, but I only got one week of the swimming class refund for my two kids. And nobody called or told us the swimming pool was closed before we got there. And one of the front desk lady was really rude and refused to apologize not telling me the swimming pool was closed. Bad service! And the swimming class gurantee 6 students for one teacher but it always has 9 students. So most of the time the kids just sitting there learning nothing. Next year I would not spend money on the membership and any classes there. I have the same phone number all the time and I am not the only one not got the Class Cancel call. Other parents didn't know the class was cancelled before they get there. I have been talked to the ladies in the front desk and they made me went find Rachel and talked to her. They all said it would be more teacher coming next week but it never happened. It's not the only bad thing about the swimming class experience. Whoever responsible for the swimming class at the east y did very bad job communicate to customers. Classes cancelled never called the parents. Nowadays this service shouldn't exist. Ymca is big company but if you take customers' money and don't do the job you suppose to do , customers will leave. And I am the one who leave.

This place is awesome. Great weight room, nice pool, friendly staff. If you have a family this place is definitely worth checking out the membership is worth it.

Do not understand why I have to pay for a membership in my student fees when no one is ever even at the front desk checking the people who are coming in at the busiest times. Would not pay for the y out of pocket if I knew that people just walk in all the time for free because they never have staff at the front desk. Andover YMCA is way better.
I absolutely love this YMCA and am proud to say that this is my Y! Over the last several months the front desk staff have been intentional by learning my name, asking me how my day/week has been going, and have even learned the days and times that I come in. So much so, that the other night I received a phone call from Rebekah and Quade asking if I was doing okay because I had not been in for a week. Talk about AWESOME customer service! I appreciate the level of excellence that the night crew upholds and I look forward to coming in during the week. I give this YMCA 6 stars and would recommend to everyone!

Everyone who works here or works out here is like a family who want to see everyone else succeed. If you are looking to find a family friendly gym, this one is definitely one of the top on my list of recommendations.

This used to be my favorite YMCA. But lately it feels like it is not as professional as usual. They got a new employee and she is not professional at all. She wears leggings and sneakers to work while all other employees wear their uniforms. Today she even wore a jean jacket with a tank top that was way too low. She has part of her head shaved and her hair is always greasy. She is also rude to members and does not respect and treat us as good as the other employees do.
It is oriented place to work out. I like their sports program!!!

I have been visiting family for Thanksgiving and had the chance to visit this ymca First the staff has been friendly and welcoming. I couldn't say enough about how great they are. Facility is clean and atmosphere quite comfortable.
By far hands down, the east Y is the best and cleanest and not overcrowded. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly. Also, I personally commend the cleaning lady, Andrea, she goes above and beyond the call of duty, and her kindness and excellence in service deserves to be rewarded. Job well done.
IV been going there for 3 years and no one ever judges, great equipment, small but also flexible in terms as equipment usage in the weight room. The track is nice as well as the cardio center and loft. The beginners section is nice for anyone looking to get into getting fit, you have all the amenities to get fit in one room. The pool and sauna is always a pleasure to go in. Overall I like this one better then the rest because it's small and it gets the job done.

The director of the learning center is rude and unprofessional. She does not follow through or return phone calls. She is unfit to be called a director of any learning center! I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. If I could give a zero for customer experience I would!
Very good place to work out. They have an indoor track for walking/running and many different machines and equipment. I go at different times of day and never have a problem finding an elliptical because they have so many!
The kids zone staff are all great with my son. He's 20 months and some days doesn't want to be left there while I work out. The staff always try to help him feel more comfortable, which I appreciate.
Locker rooms, bathrooms, and showers are always clean.
We used to have a membership at a gym, and I was worried switching to the YMCA would mean a step down in quality, but it is exactly the same equipment as the gym at 25% of the cost! We've had a membership at the YMCA for 5 years and we'll never go back to a traditional gym again.
