Skates are a bit dull, but it is a nice place to go for being the only one most of the time. Enjoyed my time there.
This would be such an amenity for Wichita if it was better maintained. It was fun/affordable but, bring your own skates. The rental skates are in terrible condition and were hurting almost everyone in our party. The door leading out onto the ice would only open halfway making it difficult for skaters to enter/exit.
Cozy space compared to other locations, but it still has everything I need! Traffic is usually pretty low so it's never too busy, and help is never too far.
Grate food and good skates process are a little high but cheap energy drinks
The kids had a fantastic time during spring break. Very affordable and fun.
EDIT - Jose from the corporate office was able to assist in the matter, i'm walking away from this experience with less frustration solely because of his help, however the other lady I talked to on the phone still was one of the worst parts of this experience.
if you want to cancel your membership they will forgot to inform you that you need to show up in person to sign a 30 day cancellation notice.
My old gym got bought out by them and when I talked to them in May i told them i didn't want to continue when my contract was done. not once was i told i had to come in and sign a piece of paper for a 30 day cancellation.
they charged me the next month after the old contract was done and refuse to give a refund citing "policy" because they know they need to grab every dollar they possibly can from people who never wanted to use them as a gym in the first place.
absolutely pathetic and I will ALWAYS refer people to any other gym before this money grabber.

I love this gym! I basically joined for the convenience of working out during lunch time! There's always equipment and the staff is friendly!!
The Ice Center is a smaller club but has everything you need to complete most any workout great location close to downtown and the staff are always amazing to visit with..... just one of the many amazing genesis locations here in Wichita!

I like the privacy of the place in comparison to other gyms like the YMCA or planet fitness. The staff is always smiling and friendly and always ask if we need help. horrace the manager is really cool and is always training and doing things with the public.

Great staff that takes a personal interest in YOU and your progress. Love checking in and seeing my staff. The trainers are always checking on me if nothing else but to see how I'm doing. Always able to get my workouts in quickly because we don't have to wait on any equipment! Love Genesis!

All of the Genesis locations are great, but this is a fun location to get in a quick workout while I'm in a hurry. This location doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of the larger locations like a basketball court or pool, but they have all of the weight room and cardio equipment you would need. This location is never busy when I go, so I can get in, get my workout done, then get back out. It has a great view of the Wichita downtown area with large windows and Lawrence Dumont Stadium across the street.
My only comment is that the Yoga studio is often so hot. It would sure be nice if there were fans in there. I realize some people like Hot Yoga, but I Do Not. Thanks.
Extremely friendly staff! Great atmosphere! OUTSTANDING gym with great trainers. They keep track of your progress very closely and keep updating the workOUT routine for maximum impact. The trainers are helpful and motivate you to do your best. They discuss and resolve any problems being faced by you and educate you regarding the various workouts they recommend according to your body and objectives.
I have been continuing with them for over quite some time now and still am as motivated as the first day of visiting the gym. The best thing about them is that they make sure that you are getting results for your time and money.
Small gym overall. It's nice because there are WAY less people here than the Y down the street. The size does limit the variety of lifting equipment, but there is a wide range of free weights and machines to use, as well as multiple cardio machines.
The steam room is nice to have also. That said, it doesnt really work very well.... You have to be in there for fifteen minutes just break a sweat at times!
Staff has been so nice and helpful. Trainers are kind and so helpful correcting you when doing it wrong. Thanks to Henry for taking me on as a new client and helping me get into shape. Thank you Genesis
