I have absolutely fallen in love with this yoga studio. The community is incredibly supportive, the teachers are so knowledgeable and kind. There is a great variety of classes to fit whatever you'd like to do, the day/time you'd like to go, and whatever level you want to start. I have seen amazing progress in my strength, fitness goals, and just my general attitude as I have come to the mat over and over again. I would definitely recommend Hot Asana!

Love Hot Asana! Started out with trying yoga just as a way to mix up my regular workout routines and relieve stress and tension, but have found so much more in my practice than I expected. Yoga has brought more strength, patience, mindfulness and gratitude into my life and I couldn't ask for a better studio to practice in. The instructors are great at explaining and giving "options" throughout classes so that everyone can find their own practice and challenge themselves where they can, and scale back as needed. I love how all the instructors mix it up a bit and have their own "style".

Love everything about this studio! I started attending yoga at Hot Asana in late 2015 and have been hooked ever since. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. Best part? the cold towel after a sweaty practice! First 2 classes are free! CHECK IT OUT!

2 years ago I dedicated myself to solely practicing yoga within my fitness routine. This dedication has deepened my love for yoga and my yoga community.
The atmosphere cultivated within Hot Asana is one of acceptance, positivity, and fun. This studio is much more than a place to work out. Each instructor is highly knowledgeable, encouraging, devoted to their practice and knows your name. They each possess a love and passion for yoga that is infectious.
If you are looking for a studio that will help you deepen your practice or if you're looking to test the waters then this is the place to be!

Sometimes not everything is everyone's cup of tea. I experienced my first visit at the east side location that is also owned by the same people. I was pleased with the set up and appearance of the entire place. They do a good job with their first impression catering to their customers. What really through me when I first entered into the room was, people are not quiet. They were chit chatting it up with anyone around them instead of out in the hall. I have been to other studios in town that ask their students to keep it quiet when first entering into the space of where the practice is. Nope not here, you can expect a friendly chat with your neighbor, I personally prefer the quietness or the whispering sounds instead of the loud sounds before and right when class begins. After attending my first class I personally was not in favor of the style they taught. They do a very fast pace movement through the beginning to the end of class. I felt like I didn't have time to feel my pose and enjoy it as I perfect it. Then they did a handful of things that I wish they would have gone into better explanation because after a couple hours after class I could feel a pain that I would have been more aware of to prevent the injury. Expect the class to be extremely hot, which is fine. The owner does a great job at what she demonstrates herself and shows how extremely well she is at her skill. I didn't get the feel of relaxation in the class, more of a stress and pressure to rush through things and achieve something that isn't part of my daily practice.

I do have to say though at the end of class when you are in shavasana they passed out a towel with a beautiful scent of essential oils placed on your for heard. It really helped cool the body down and prepare it for those few minutes of relaxation before class was over.
The group of people that do work here are super nice and welcoming. They have a strong following f people who attend their classes both east and west side. If you do choose to come here, take a towel with you because you will sweat a lot along with a bottle of water to continue hydrating yourself during and after class. Every yoga teachers practice and interoperation is different and how the present it to people so while this place was totally not for me maybe you may be interested in it if you're looking more for a quick routine that is fast paced. I personally like to gain my strength through slow movement to grow strength in the muscle instead of rushing through those difficult moments. There just a stronger gain and balance in the body through the method of training I like vs this one.

I absolutely love Hot Asana! It's the best workout in town and it caters to all levels. Gina's classes are the hardest, so if you're a beginner, you may want to start in another class and work your way up to her classes! I'm completely addicted!!!

I attended this place after reading the description of the instructors. I wish I had read the information about it first before attention but thought that I would be a follower instead of a leader which was a bad assumption in this case. First of the instructor has only been a part of a training for 200 hours and I personally believe that just because you go through a teacher training once doesn't mean you have the full understanding of being able to teach a yoga class the way it is intended to be taught. The owner does do a great job getting personal with you and goes around class touching each student to help them feel their pose but there is a lot more to yoga then hot towels that smell good and handstands. if you are looking for a core work out then check the place out but if you are looking for proper yoga that makes you feel yoga and listen to your body go somewhere else. I wasn't happy with my experience and noticed that is may be a trend or fad for people to be coming here but it isn't a place that I would call yoga.
If you go on google and type in define yoga it is:
"A Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation."
I did not get that at all here. It isn't relaxing nor is it healthy to just jump into poses and attempt to do something you haven't worked toward. Just keep in mind just because your neighbor can do it doesn't mean you can. You should be able to move into poses with the right mind set with out hurting yourself.

Best place for beginners and experienced yogis! Staff walks you through poses, assists and encourages you. The studio is always adding new classes and fun events! Also very clean and pricing is great -no long term commitments required.

My favorite local yoga studio! Gina and all of the Hot Asana instructors do an excellent job. It's a great place from beginners to highly experienced yogis to practice and be educated. I only wish I could get in every day!
