My company provides a corporate discount to go here and in the past it's been great. Grant is a good owner and is friendly. The gym has gone through a lot of changes the last 45 days and unfortunately they are not good. The gym relies on personal and group training but with the gym floor now gone workout area has become way too small. Especially during peak times when equipment can be difficult to get access to. The trainers take up large portions of the remaining floor. It's so busy and it's become a huge mess with a lot of equipment crammed into a now very small space. Equipment is rarely re-racked and the trainers are often culprits. Half of the time their are no towels or any paper towels in the restrooms. And, the music is so loud even when you bring your headphones it is drowned out by whatever is playing. If you want to vibe with your own tracks it's impossible. It's claustrophobic with the new wall.
I want Grant to be successful but this space needs a lot of rework and his trainers need to be more mindful of the space around them. Something will have to give. What was a great community gym is now a warehouse with gym equipment in it.

Great facility that incorporates any type and style of training you need. There is a variety of equipment and all of it is new. Huge open areas as nothing is closed off. Positive feeling when you walk in the doors. This gym is meant for all levels of fitness. The owner and trainers encourage and welcome everybody to the gym and are very positive/helpful. I do not live in Olathe and will travel to come to Sun Point Fitness

Still able to get a decent workout. Good equipment for all lifting styles. Not as welcoming atmosphere as initially thought, kids are definitely not welcome.
Been working out at Sunpoint for almost a year now. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed by staff and members. There's no way I would ever go back to one of the chain gyms in town. Do yourself a favor and give Sunpoint a chance I guarantee you won't regret it. Keep up the great work, Grant!
As someone who works out and goes to the gym daily, this gym is awesome. Fell in love with it as soon as I came in. If you're into fitness, bodybuilding, etc. you'd be doing yourself wrong not to check this place out.
Perfect layout, everything you could dream of. Not to mention you can actually talk to everyone. At Genesis before I barely met a single person, but here I've already met dozens of great people. Super lucky to have found this place.
This is a great find for a local gym! After years of memberships at the YMCA and other chain gyms SunPoint is a refreshing place to workout. Clean and well kept equipment with a great atmosphere.
I love training at Sun Point. I love the atmosphere and the people that come in and out. If you're looking for a good gym to join, that's not corporate, this place is for you!
