I met Chris through Ad Astra running. He talked to us about the importance of strength training for runners.
He spent time evaluating my physical abilities before providing me a personalized training program. He takes time to adjust my training for new goals I set and what I want to accomplish.
I have been working with Chris since January 2018. In this time he has helped me improve my speed and endurance. I am pleased the results so far and look forward to continued development.

As a runner/swimmer/triathlete, working out with Chris has helped improve my fitness and times, while reducing injuries and time lost due to injury! Each strength training exercise has a purpose, with multiple sessions building strength for my body necessary for more advanced moves. Working out with Chris is a big improvement over my previous strength training routine.

My 15 year old son plays baseball and has been training with Chris a couple of times a week for the last year. Chris provides a safe training environment and he always ensures the use of proper lifting techniques. His sessions are challenging and fun at the same time. Significant strength improvement along with quickness has been observed during this period.
I highly recommend ASI with Chris and his team.

Chris is very knowledgeable about fitness and diet. He gets the details right - like the correct way to move your body during each sequence. Highly recommend checking him out.

Chris is an outstanding strength coach and makes your goals his goals. I have benefited from his expertise in both my professional and personal life and would encourage anyone looking to improve themselves to contact ASI as soon as possible!

Chris is an exceptional trainer. It's very clear that he loves his craft, as he's constantly adding to his already vast knowledge of athletic and strength training. He's also taken the time to get to know each of his clients and their goals. He has realistic expectations for how these goals can be achieved and he pushes you to work hard in the gym. After 2.5 years of training with him I've gained speed and confidence in my sport, ultimate frisbee, and I've developed a strong, lean body. Most importantly, because of the time I spend at ASI I've remained able to play the sport I love without fear of injury. Thanks Chris!

As a professional cyclist, I'm very selective about coaches. Chris has gone above and beyond all expectations, and has helped me improve my riding immensely! Can't recommend working with him enough.

Chris is so great to work with. Our daughters enjoy his training style and have seen great strength improvement because of his skills. Great place to go!

What I love about training at ASI is how much these guys know about the body and the way it is supposed to move - beyond that, they know MY body. Even when I am working out in a small group, Aaron is watching my movements, making sure I am using proper form, and helping my body get stronger and stronger. He knows the ways my body will try to "cheat" the movements and coaches to overcome those weaknesses. He knows when I can take more and pushes me past what I might choose for myself. If you are looking for a place to build strength for life and reduce pain caused by years of improper movement, you cannot go wrong with Aaron, Chris, and Isaac!

I got tired of dealing with personal trainers who had a cookie cutter or one size fits all approach to training. After looking for quite awhile, I found The Athletic Strength Institute.

Chris, the owner met with me and really listened to my concerns. I have some pins in my left foot from an old soccer injury and Chris was able to develop a training routine that allows me to see progress and results without beating my foot up too badly. These guys are the best in the area.

This is by far the best strength training experience of my life. I have been working out with Isaac using the ASI system since January of 16. I have noticed huge jumps in both my strength and the definition of my muscles, especially my abs, which is funny as the system's early workouts for you don't even include ab-specific exercises; instead the entire workout engages the core. I really love ASI! I feel comfortable there, supported, and I know the guys truly care about my success.

I came to Isaac with nerve damage in my neck affecting several muscles in my shoulder complex. It was a frustrating situation that I had been dealing with for a couple of months and Isaac was determined to get results. He varied his approach and strategies to get at the problem. I'll never forget the "breakthrough" moment when I was able to stand up and lift my arm following some deep ART manipulations. It's hard to say which of us was more thrilled! Isaac, high five!

I had been training to climb Mt. Rainier for several months which involved strenuous and intense cardio which in turn beat up my knees pretty bad. I suffered through throbbing pressure and restless nights thinking it would just work itself out. Long story short, my trainer from another gym sent me to see Isaac to rehab my knee. Honestly, I was skeptical at first. If the place doesn't make me pay a co-pay I usually think it's witch doctor voodoo. Isaac was able to take the pressure off my knee with a single 30 minute session. Bottom line: If you are stupid enough like me to endure weeks of pain and lost sleep, be smart enough to go see Isaac.
