We visited a lot of studios and felt like family at this one. The best part about QC Family Martial Arts is that they do a fantastic job with the littles. My son was personally taught when he first started to catch him up to the group. Plus, they not only teach forms and sparring, but self defense. They stress hard work and that the winner is not always the strongest. I am so glad to have found this place for my son.

Master Instructor Jan Butler has over 30 years of teaching martial arts. As a previous wrestler at Orion HS, Master Jan incorporates ground grappling into his martial arts curriculum, along with traditional Kuk Sool martial arts system. If you care about quality rather than how fast you become a Black Belt, this is the place for you!

I searched for years for a quality martial arts school that was satisfying and challenging. I was fortunate enough to find this amazing school right in my backyard.

Jan Butler is the one of the best martial arts instructors in the area. If you're looking for someone to teach your child properly without giving belts out like candy, Jan is your man.
Not only is Jan a skilled practitioner of Kok Sool Won, he is an excellent wrestler and knows some BJJ as well.
If you're looking for a well rounded martial arts experience without all the fluff of the bigger places in town, you need to go to Kok Sool QC.
