Room smelled very musty/moldy. It seemed to be coming from the carpet. Bed was comfy though.
We have stayed here a lot and really appreciate the clean rooms, caring staff and cafe for breakfast.
Great staff, comfortable and clean accommodations, warm pool, really appreciated the layout of the 2 br suite for my family of 4.
Great stay very nice place asked for a quiet room and got one they really listen.
I had made a reservation nearly 4 or 5 weeks before our trip. I was bringing a family member to Davenport for an Attorney meeting. A week before she had a fall and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Where she remained 4 days. We then were concerned with therapy. The LAST thing on my mind was our trip to Davenport! I didn't cancel the hotel room and much to my surprise the hotel fee was debited from my account! I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income and not expecting this-really was a negative impact on my entire month! Even after explaining I have yet to be reimbursed in all or even part of the charges! I expected better from Marriott.
This is not about this branch specifically. This is about Marriott them selves. They called me on a Friday night at 9:45 in the evening to tell me I have qualified for something or an other. They tell me to push 0 for further detail, I push 0 so i can tell then to take me off there call list and i get no answer. This is not acceptable either answer the phone or don't bother me. Just saying!
Classic courtyard layout. Fancy soaps in the shower. Great front desk and, as always, lovely balconies if you are a high roller like me,
Clean, comfortable room. Very efficient setup for the rooms. Had an issue with door lock. Could be time to update the door locks. Hotel was full, but everything went well.
Very clean facilities, standard Marriott courtyard. There was some event in town so they were completely full. We got in extremely late, so we received a handicapped-accessible version of the room we booked, which featured a king size bed rather than a queen and a sofa bed like we'd originally intended. Not their fault, ultimately, and we were compensated with extra Marriott points since they didn't have another room to move us to. Travelling has hiccups. They handled this fine and we had a warm, clean bed for the night. Good experience

The family sweet was nice but the customer service was very poor. No Continental breakfast or welcoming accommodations. I have never been in a hotel that said "no" to me so many times.
Had not ironed out details with paying party to receive me as a guest without hassle. Two positives: good indoor pool and nice reception staff.

Room is great. Would like better lighting in the hallways and continental breakfast.
I've stayed there so many times, that I have lost count. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The staff there is phenomenal and cleanliness there is unbelievable. Love it
This was a kind of hidden gem. The central courtyard is peaceful and beautiful. The rooms were clean and the service was great. We'd been on the road for over a week at that point, so had cause to use the laundry facilities. The machines were heavy duty, clean, and worked great. (I know, but if you ever do need them, it's good to know they're there, and it's an indication of the management of a hotel when they keep less-reviewed elements of the hotel clean and in good working order.)

The staff were very friendly at check in, and even gave my daughter a small stuffed animal they had from a previous conference. The rooms were decent and clean. The only complaint I had was regarding the pack and play we had requested for our infant: one side would not stay up, and as I was very concerned about it (and we weren't starting to far from home), I had my husband bring our own from home. Just as a heads up, breakfast is not complimentary, and it is Al carte. There are restaurants within a couple mile radius, so be prepared.

Affordable rooms, well maintained, low noise, helpful staff, better than other hotwls in the area, but Food was slightly overpriced and bed sheets were itchy
Excellent staff, very friendly, very accommodating. Nice and clean. Well stocked 24/7 convenience market. Beautiful central courtyard
This is a typical Marriott Couryard. It is close to what you need, but nothing in walking distance. A motel on 53 has a little more going on. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly.
Nice rooms, great price, would definitely go back again, has pool and hot tub and fitness center as well plus you can order food from their Bistro
The hotel was nice and clean. The waiter/bartender was fantastic when I ordered supper. The receptionist's were friendly.
We visited for a morning social event in one of the conference rooms. The staff was very nice and helped us out with a few forgotten details. Overall, the property looked nice and suited our needs.
Nice hotel, accommodating staff and even though there is no free breakfast, the kitchen/restaurant is really good.
Nice location good service comfortable beds
Always a great place to stay. Staff is awesome, rooms are well kept and the hot tub is great.
Great reception. Consistent quality of a Marriott. I would stay again.
Amazing place to stay for a reasonable price. Great pool/spa area and bar/bistro area. The fitness room was small but had everything we needed. The lobby was spacious for my large family and I was able to use it for business work late into the night. All staff that I interacted with was friendly and helpful, especially Laura who attended the bistro/bar.
Very friendly front desk staff and a really nice pool. Would stay again.
It was nice an clean i loved the swimming pool and i relaxed in the hottub but u might want to bring it own shampoo and conditioner their bottles are really small
Great staff nice clean room and Bistro area offers a wide variety of food and beverage option would stay here again
I recently stayed here about 2 days ago and I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the place. I travel a lot for my job but I don't put much stock in hotel brand names primarily cuz I've stated at some really good name brand hotels that haven't been that great in the past. The beds are specially soft and comfortable and the room was very spacious and pleasant and clean. if I had to say one thing that was negative in particular it would be that they keep putting a hold on my card. two days after I left there for about 20 bucks and I would have thought it would be gone. I'm hoping that will clear soon enough though it was a very pleasant stay and I wouldn't mind staying there again.
The staff at the Courtyard Marriott in Bettendorf, Iowa is rude, disrespectful, and does NOT believe the needs of its handicapped guests should come first!
Despite the fact that I made reservations for three rooms almost three months in advance and paid UPFRONT for a room that was handicapped accessible with a roll-in shower for a member of our party who suffers with MS, we were told upon check-in that the ONE room in the hotel that had a roll-in shower had been given to someone else earlier in the month and that person was there for a long-term stay. The members of my party had all driven almost 300 miles each to enjoy two nights together in the Courtyard Marriott only to be told that our specific request, one that had been paid for in advance, was no longer available because they only HAD one accessible room - something no one had mentioned prior to check-in.
I do not know why we were never contacted prior to our check-in about the conflict in reservations even though I had paid for the room and specified that an accessible room was the ONLY option for my friend. I had even called two weeks prior to our stay just to be sure the reservations were all good to go and was told at that time that they were. No problems.
And oh yes - at check-in, the desk clerk also rudely informed me when we said we would have to go elsewhere to find a place to stay that my $208 upfront payment would not be refunded for the room that had been "given" to someone else. Evidently, I had paid for the "potential" to get an accessible room and not an "actual" accessible room!! However, after a call to her manager, which I insisted upon, we were quickly refunded the money. One hurdle cleared. But the rest remained too big to manage.
Since there were no other rooms with roll-in showers at this Marriott, - again - something NO ONE had told me prior to check-in - another three rooms at another hotel, including a room that WAS accessible, had to be quickly procured which led to a significant increase in our room costs because of the MISmanagement and lack of concern by the Marriott staff. A new hurdle thrown in our path.
From the reservation desk staff to the local manager to the corporate level of Marriott, we have been treated with disrespect and a lack of empathy for a person who has no options but to stay in a room with a roll-in shower. We weren't asking for an east facing window or a special brand of soap; we were asking for a room that a person with special needs could enjoy and be comfortable in. Evidently, that is not possible for the Marriott corporation - especially this particular Bettendorf location.
Avoid this particular hotel if you have needs beyond the basic human functions. The staff makes no effort to be polite or understanding when the room we paid for is simply given away and there are no other rooms available, and they are disrespectful and inconsiderate when it comes to those with handicaps. If you have special needs, stay somewhere else!!
The hotel is conveniently located near the freeway, although there was quite the congestion getting in on a Friday around rush hour. There was plenty of parking available, and checking in was painless. My room was nice and clean, and despite facing the freeway, there was little noise to complain about. The staff were all very friendly and professional.
We attended a fundraiser for Tori's Art of Hope at the Courtyard. The space was perfect and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The conference room, lobby, and restaurant areas were all very clean. There was ample parking for the event. It was wonderful!
The staff is friendly and quick to greet you as you walk by. The conference room was clean and stocked with water, sodas and coffee. The only problem I have with the location is pulling into their parking lot. You're basically driving over the curb since it hasn't been cut down. Best to go real slow and come at it at an angle to prevent it from damaging your car.
Dirty shower with moldy curtain. Run down decor. Dingy hallways. I'm switching to the Holiday Inn.
Nice hotel with great location. Good size rooms. Super clean. Friendly staff.
