I went into the downtown facility Wednesday to get a gym membership and I was greeted my Chelsey she was excellent showed me the gym told me that there was other facilities in Cedar Rapids and helped me get the best membership that fit me. Also she set me up with a personal trainer... I cannot wait to start working out with the personal trainer.... also loving the downtown facility.

Downtown location is right across from work. Clean and classy and well equipped. I love that it's rarely busy. Never have to wait for a machine.

Signed up for sessions and the trainer was not consistent and late with follow up for scheduling. Got charged for a MyZone belt that the trainer suggested when I had already returned it.

The pool is constsntly filthy. Chelsey Obbereuter, the co-owner, refuses to have the Biofilm Scum removed from the pool walls until the club members complain about it. So then they scrub it with a Brillo Pad....then it gets dirty again and they wait for complaints to clean it and it's a never ending cycle. Public pictures link forthcoming.

Good place to break up the day during your lunch hour. Spread out enough to get a good workout in and people don't talk to you when your headphones are in. Works for me.
