I used to belong to Planet Fitness but for $8 more month I'm able to have a pool water aerobics exercise classes and the kind of bicycle my therapist recommends. I highly recommend for its diversity.

This is one of the nicer LA fitness locations in the area. Always clean and never lines for cardio machines, even at peak hours. Staff seem friendly and helpful.

THERE IS A PEEPING TOM THAT SPIES ON WOMEN IN THE SHOWER AND THE STAFF DOES NOTHING WHEN YOU TELL THEM!!!! I WAS IN THE SHOWER AND A MAN WAS HIDING IN THE SHOWER ACROSS FROM ME AND I CAUGHT HIM STARING AT ME THROUGH A CRACK IN MY SHOWER CURTAIN!! NOT ONLY DID STAFF DO NOTHING BUT WHEN I LEFT A WRITTEN MESSAGE FOR THE MANAGER ABOUT THE CRIME NOBODY EVER CALLED ME BACK.

I live closer to the one on Pendleton pike, but I don't mind the extra drive because this gym is way more better. It's always kept clean, and it's definitely less crowded than the other gyms I've been to, even during the late evenings on the weekdays. I would recommend LA Fitness on East Washington without doubt!
My health insurance allows me multiple gym memberships and this location is the cleanest gym of all that I visit. A good selection of free weights and machines. This location has become my only gym now.
Though the facilities are nice, the administrative end is poor. Our general memberships are company paid for. When we went in to sign up the MANAGER had never heard of our company (Lilly) and had never heard of corporate sponsored memberships. So, we had to come back another day to speak to someone else. Then we signed up for personal training, but that was a huge mistake. They cannot keep trainers, the trainer's hour are very limited to daily hours which only work if you are not employed, and it is as if they decide on a whim what you will do that day. I often had to tell my trainer what we would be working on that day, instead of them actually having a plan. All I ever heard about was how tired he was from his bartending job. We stopped going despite paying for the sessions. The training staff was more concerned with flirting with each other in their alcove than actually interacting with gym members. When my contract term ended, I called to verify that it would in fact end because I did not trust that I would not continue to be charged and was told I needed to come in because the manager didn't know me and didn't want to cancel a membership for someone he didn't know. There is nothing to sign...he just wouldn't do it over the phone not even if I verified every detail of my account (including days I had sessions in the past)!! When I asked if that requirement was in my contract, he indicated he didn't know but that was his personal policy. Just another inconvenience on top of the already poor experiences from the start. It is really unfortunate because the facility itself is very nice.
This place is always clean and the staff is friendly. There is a lot of equipment with it pretty much guaranteed that you will have something open that you will use. The free weights racks are stacked so you will find a great selection there as well.
The pool is nice. It is a shame more people do not use it but that just benefits me. The sauna is nice too.
I've lived all over town. This gym has been pretty good to me !! My home gym is Southport but it was crazy busy after work . I would have to hunt for a Machine!! This gym is super clean with a much smaller crowd !!
