There's plenty of equipment there so it's always busy but not full. The staff is polite and always helpful. The equipment is clean (and the customers do a great job of cleaning after themselves).
Clean environment, including restrooms/ dressing area. One massage chair doesn't work like it should. Reported twice, 2 months ago. Still not working. Too much static through headphones to listen to tv programs.
Clean gym. I like it. They have tanning and massage chairs as well as full range of exercise equipment. Morning don't seem to busy there it is just the right amount of people to keep it interesting yet allow you to use the equipment you choose easily.
the cleaning chemicals they use stink up the place and get on your clothes. as people wipe down each machine after use the chemicals stay wet on the seats and handles and after touching all that and smelling all that you usually end up with a cough after you leave the place. they need to go to GREEN cleaning stuff like vinegar and hydrogen peroxide.
Great place. They are not located by the Arbys. Plant Fitness is in the back
Was very pleasurable when the old manager was there. Always clean and was always inviting. They brought in the new manager Tyler who is a complete dick, fires people left in right, hardly ever gets greeted anymore. Gym is slowly going downhill which is unfortunate.
Great service. Good size, a lot of machines. Love the massage beds. A good price for what you get.
Love it! Great atmosphere! Help if you need it and everyone minds his own business.

One of the best experiences at a gym I've ever had. Extremely friendly staff, great equipment, and an overall positive atmosphere
Great place to work out. I never feel judged or unwelcome. They have a numerous amount of equipment so I never have to wait. Love this place.
The gym is always packed in. I can never get the machine that i need when I need it and end up having to wait 20 minutes to use it. Also, the staff here is typically friendly and extremely helpful however now a days, I dont even see a staff anymore. Did Planet Fitness fire everyone or cut their budget? The gym seems understaffed and the only person who helps me out is this one guy chris up front who seems like he does everything. What's happening to this place? It used to be great. Considering other options.
I would put I love this place however it's consistently going down hill... I don't like being followed around or stared at when exercising... And guess who doesn't care??? The employees... Thankfully I had someone with me definitely didn't feel safe being followed by a person supposed to be exercising

Expected to walk in, no hassle, join for a month while we are in town and not have huge investment or long- term commitment. Not at all how it works. Our choices were $49 each to join and use for the one week we are here or $21.99 a month to use wherever we travel. So much for $10/month- no contract. They are no different from all the other gyms. They could not offer us a day use pass because we were honest that we would not be joining. Guy actually told us to go to LA Fitness and they would give us a free week pass. Shocking- we ended up at LA Fitness!!

Love this place. Even when they're busy the environment is clean and equipment is available.
I've been a member with PF since 2013. Anytime you go in, there is always someone who sits on a machine or multiple for an hour or more. There is always someone who hogs all of the pulley handles because they're doing multiple workouts. The only piece of equipment you can count on finding within an hour is an elliptical or treadmill. There's a small area for stretching/body workouts but it's usually crowded by a bunch of people listening to music and taking selfies. The lockers are tiny so don't bring a gym bag, it won't fit. There's only two benches in the locker room so you may have not be able to sit down. The price is cheap but if you can afford it I would recommend any other gym to workout in.
I enjoy working out here. My fiancé and I are always able to get in and do our routines and get out.
Friendly staff, if you explain you know nothing they will go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable with the equipment/illustration on how to use the equipment. Head pillow in tanning bed one is cracked.
Clean good location big parking lot that allows us Truck drivers to come work out. Thank you
There's literally enough equipment for everyone. Everything is always is working condition and staff is understanding and kind.
The cleanest and most friendly Planet Fitness location of all of the locations I have visited. This place has more equipment than a lot of the other locations and is a great place to work out.
Just left the Greenwood club after speaking to "JB" (he refused to give his last name - not sure why, other than cowardice, in the face of standing behind his decisions as assistant manager).
When we joined the club we specifically asked about a cancellation fee as we eventually planned to join a club closer to our home that offered racquetball courts. The sales person boasted that "there is NEVER a cancellation fee at Planet Fitness"!!! Well apparently there IS a buyout fee on the contract that THEY DON'T HAVE!!!! JB's only response "it's in your agreement".
He claimed repeatedly after being asked repeatedly, that he can't waive or break club or franchise policy.
DON'T AGREE TO ANYTHING HERE. Shady mis-wording is the same thing as lying. I have no problem with the policy, I have a problem with misrepresentation and failure to make things right by a manager.
Really simple to sign up for a membership here. Also cheap. $10 a month or $20 A month. There is a one time a year fee in November and that is it. I think the people complaining just didn't listen about how the membership works. Like any other place, yes there is a fee if you all of a sudden forfeit your membership before a certain amount of time but that is normal. Plus unlimited tanning if you go with the $20 a month. Only downside is that there are no free weights really besides dumbbells (up to 70lbs?) but if you aren't lifting super heavy or powerlifting it's a great place honestly.
Traveling out of town for work, my home gym is in Port Huron Michigan. The equipment seems a little worn down, and there really isn't much room for a good workout. Just a little crowded if you ask me. Over all I am not all to thrilled with this facility.
This review is long over due. My boyfriend and I had the privilege to have this location as our home gym for the year we lived in Indianapolis. Every day we were treated like family and welcomed with smiles. The staff, particularly the evening staff, got to know us on a first name personal basis and were genuinely caring people. We travel for work and have been to about 20 planet fitness locations throughout the US and not one of them could compete with this location.
Not only was the staff amazing but things were always clean and anytime we needed anything they were there to help.
This PF will always be rated #1 in our book.
$10 a month is not so much the case. There is a 50.00 sign up and the one they don't mention is the $39.00 fee that comes a month later. It is $89.00 to sign up and $10 a month. The $10 a month is actually about $18.00. Just go to a real gym. About the same price with a lot more to offer.
I Love this location & you can't beat the price. Catch the specials & join for 1$ then 10 or 20 a month. That's it, I'm not sure why someone on here wad saying that there is all these other fees, that just isn't true.
