I have been a member here for 20 years. No place is perfect. HealthPlex under new ownership is making great strides. Good facility, great trainers!!
I've been a member for about 5 years. I've seen good and bad things. With the new owners I'm hoping for some major improvements.
I was just in the facility to talk with a personal trainer. Chris was an awesome guy! Just what I needed.
Sadly the Girls at the front desk leave much to desire. Lack luster attitude, seemed bored out of their skulls. Like it was a bother to answer my questions. Like it was inconsiderate of me to have them find me a person to talk with about the personal training.
They said go to second floor and ask someone.
I asked them couldn't they find someone to answer my questions. Again they seemed bothered!
Thank goodness, Chris happened to be walking by.
When I left, I asked the girl's for printed out information. Attitude was, what again?
To many elderly or middle aged people would love this position. I've even seen young people in the past who were awesome!

Great gym with good variety of classes, nice equipment, great tennis programs. Not too pricey for what you get at all. I especially like the body pump class by Katie a lot and the tennis pros are awesome, too!

Tennis courts, 2 olympic sized pools, 2 basketball courts, Sauna and Steam room, yoga, exercises, massage therapy, physical therapy- the list goes on. I recommend all IUPUI and downtown Indianapolis students check this place out as the Student Membership fees are incredible. Wish it was cheaper to bring in Guests though because then I could show the place off to people without paying an exorbitant amount.

Everyones so nice and helpful I just love it. From the Doctor's to nurse's to the Gym just everybody.
The walking track, sanua, steam room and hot tub in male and female locker rooms. This is the best.
I have experienced bad customer service more than once here. I came in looking for information about signing up and the girls at the front desk were so off putting. I felt like I did something wrong by approaching the desk asking for information. I understand we all have bad days so I brushed the experience off. I received a three day guest pass to try the gym out which I appreciated. I really enjoyed the fact that the Sauna and wet steam room were in the ladies locker room but it was pretty dirty and dark. Even after the rude service I had received initially I was still going to sign up because of the location. I came in yesterday at abut 8:20 pm. And the same little blonde girl at the front desk that had rubbed me wrong the first time was there again and this time she was so rude I have decided not to join at all. She was so rude and her body language was so off putting I left feeling so discouraged. Thankfully I drove down to nifs and received wonderful customer service for a better price and bigger gym. I wish I would have gotten the young ladies name at the front so you could address her customer service skills because they need work extremely bad. She was there last night 2/9 at 8:20 at the front desk.

It's a decent location, but their locker rooms for entering into the swimming pool are gross. I can't fault them too much for this, as it's pretty normal, but nonetheless not good.
They have everything! The service is awesome the trainers are the best. And they have a class for everyone. It is comfortable and clean ... A no judgement zone. Indoor basket ball racket ball and tennis. Indoor pool awesome set up. Love going well worth it!
No health club is perfect... Nice people, great equipment, well educated and nice fitness coaches, and I have made many friends among the members. I recommend HealthPlex without question.
Nice atmosphere and facility. The cafe has some pretty decent food.
Fantastic chin. Convenient location right off of 65. hot tub and steam room as well as dry sauna in locker rooms. Lap pool and heated therapy pool. Racquetball courts tennis courts basketball courts excellent selection of weight lifting equipment and excellent selection of cardio equipment. Also has an indoor track massage services on site and doctors offices on site. Has cafeteria with fresh juice bar too.
This is a fantastic gym. Membership includes use of the facility along with about 95% of their classes. There are lots of classes offered in the evenings, making it easy to go after work. The facility is incredibly clean.
I absolutely love the Healthplex. As long as they stay open I'll be a member.
