Gym is nice - the staff leaves a lot to be desired. Customer service is terrible. Glad you don't have to deal with them after you've signed up.

My local gym, great hours for my ridiculous work schedule. Fun friendly staff, good equipment and dumbbells up to 75 lbs. Core training room is great.

Planet Fitness is a good gym to work out at, and there is a no judgement zone there. Love it!

Mens showers are cold every week. Spoke to staff and they are aware as it seems like a joke. Been going on for 6+ months. Paper towel dispensers are broke or not even on the wall. Locker room has bugs flying around. Needs to be consistently cleaned.

Some equipment is missing or damaged, managers and district managers of this PF franchise aren't willing to care for the facilities. It takes months for them to fix things, IF they're ever fixed. Cleanliness isn't a priority either. Employees aren't the happiest or the most helpful. If you want a better PF experience, seek out a location that's part of a different franchise. The Planet Fitness rep's response (see below) is meant to make you think they had no idea this was happening. They KNOW it's happening. In the process of dealing with these issues I repeatedly spoke with several employees (in both 38th St, and 10th St.) to two general managers, two assistant managers, and a district manager. These were ongoing problems that continued over the course of a year, not isolated instances! Don;t be followed by the lame response by the company rep below!

I justuI moved here. I was a Gold's gym girl. New to Planet Fitness, but so far it's cool. It's always very clean, staff is kind and helpful. Wish their was an outside area for tires and battle ropes. Towels, and water fountains would be nice as well. Overall no compliant just suggestions.

Inexpensive gym with standard equipment. Friendly staff, open 24 hours Mon-Thursday with shortened hours on the weekend. No pool. Frequent promotions.

I have been to a few different gyms in the past, and had a hard time staying motivated to go. Steven, the person that signed me up, and the manager Jamela were amazing! I was debating on which planet fitness I wanted to go to because I work in a different location. They let me know that I can utilize any planet fitness with a Black Card membership. I have been happy with my experience, and like the judgement free atmosphere! Probably one of the best parts is using the hydro massage tables before I leave! I think that being open 24 hours monday through friday (I got a hotel without a gym, when i was traveling to north carolina over the weekend, that there is a planet fitness in West Virginia that is open 24/7.) is one reason i have been successful. I get off of work at 2 am, and have the opportunity to work out during that time. I would definitely recommend it to All my family, and friends!

They dont ever replace the paper towels. You will have to walk to a farther station to get cleaning supplies hoping that no one get on the sweaty machine you just used.

New to indiana 2 weeks ago i came didnt had no problem today i got here and a employee didnt even said hi nor nothing instead he went right to say if my guest had i.d first of all is that how you treat new people out here i even called to ask if i can still come along to platnet fitness from a whole another state and they said yes so i dont get this employee if one of your emplote had already review my account why would u make it a such big thing but like i always said if you don not like your job theirs the door but when people have bills they going to do their job right right am i wrong or what so never again comming to this platnet fitness again

This gym is fantastic. There is plenty of equipment and it's super spacious. It is very clean and sanitizing wipes are provided and handy. Using the hydro-massage chairs to wrap up a workout is so soothing. There are members from all walks of life here and everyone has been nothing short of friendly. Staff is visible at all times and ready to assist if needed.

The facility doesn't carry loose barbells or platforms but it has a good selection of other equipment. The memberships are cheap but they usually only let you bring your guest in, not let them use your benefits aside from the main floor. The staff is always nice & respectful. The mens locker room tends to smell atrocious 24/7, so bring deodorant.

Worst planet fitness I've been to. It's hot like crazy, they only have fans and no AC I am sweating like crazy and I never sweat indoors from experience, only heat makes me sweat. I am not even doing cardio.

As a new member, not really impressed with the cleanliness of the place at all. So before you ask me to bring it to management attention both times I visted I did! It seems this is an obvious management and employee problem! Interestingly from watching it seems you just have what I call counter/assistant staff meaning I never have yet on all three visits see anyone leaving the counter picking up a rag, broom, trash, going to attend to restrooms which both times I complained about the conditions of restroom. My response was ok? Okay what? How about we will attend right to that, or will get that taken care of? Being in management 20 plus years and still. This is a poorly run establishment. You might want to start all over with employees. The larger black girl working there and behind counter is NOT friendly and lacks the basic fundamentals of customer service skills. Sadly, my first 3 visits have not provided a good example or have lived up to even decent/quality expectations. I think also there seems to to be a problem not paying attention to let's just say some unmentionable types roaming/facilities who have not truly checked in or guests of others using facilities! Lighting is awful for a gym environment. Thinking of already cancelling if I do not see improvements and going back to martial arts for exercise! Get your management and associates in check!

Gym is always a mess. Trash everywhere, no weights racked. On the plus side even during peak hours this gym isn't too busy.

Just need to see some better cleaning and the weights being racked enforced for 5 stars.

This is the raggediest Pf in indiana. It just needs a major over haul. The weight machines numbers are missing on most machines you got to guess what weight is. Just because of its location doesn't mean it has to be run down. The ones in plainfield and on keystone are way better and have more different equipment.

My wife and I love going here late nights. Always quite always clean plenty of equipment. They could use a little more variety of equipment though. I always feel welcome and it truly feels like a judgement free zone.

Place has lots of broken equipment and they never replace anything. Things stay broken for long periods of time. There are none of the updates that have gone to most of the other planet fitnesses. Out of all of the planet fitness locations I've been to this is the worst one. Doesn't seem like the employees have much control over the problems, as they are very nice and helpful, which is very sad to see. Needs quality of life updates.

By far one of the worst gyms I ever decided to join they lie about fees rude and dishonest staff I attempted to cancel my contract which I thought that they didn't have I thought you could just cancel at any time WRONG. Once I talked with a young lady she told me ok it's canceled charges had still come out of my account the next month. I called again and was told to come in because there were forms to sign so I did with someone named prince while I was there I guess I was an inconvenience to them with how impatient they were but not forgetting I'm the one being constantly charged for a gym I don't use and that is useless for me so the next month charges again of course so I call again and spoke to someone by the name of Heather who lied and said that she was a manager and was handling everything and going to look for my forms of cancellation and shell give me a call back which never happened once speaking with someone I was told they don't have a manager by that name everyday I call I get lies and the run around and no manager is ever available or just stepped away let them tell it. It is unacceptable and rude and an inconvenience I think this is a horrible place. join at your own risk.

Way too many things were out of order. One of the limited number of stairclimbling machines was broken. The convenient bottle filling station wasn't operational. One of only three showers was also out of order. And even after I told them three weeks ago that the hair dryer in the men's locker room was not working, there isn't even a sign saying that it's out of order, so I assume they don't plan on fixing it anytime soon.

That leads to another issue. The staff seems completely disinterested in solving these issues. There were no apologies or anything. They just said okay, and I'm assuming they didn't write anything down in a maintenance log.

I'm disappointed, but at least I can still take advantage of the much better location.

Planet Fitness is for people who are not into heavy lifting and more advanced lifts (power cleans, deficits deadlifts, decline bench press) and many people in the gym sit on the machines, that seem to be in limited supply, for extended periods of time. For people who just need a quick pump or a good cardio session PF can suit your needs

Gym is usually pretty clean and they have good customer service. It's a great gym but I do wish the weight machines were newer and the lighting was better. Overall it's the most affordable gym at $10 a month.

I regularly come here to workout. I usually don't come until late because between like 5 to 9... crowded!!! To the point where, you really standing in line to be next to lift... But once I get there at like 10... nice and calm. Machines be open. Everyone nice as far as helping you. No one really messed up your workout flow...

Nice gym, friendly patrons. I visit a lot of Planet Fitness gyms. This is one of the most friendliest. I. Could only give 3 stars, because some of the free weights were missing far as dumbbells. And some equipment needed connections to attach the bars. Other than that, very friendly staff.

Very clean, helpful staff, but they can't seem to keep consistent staff! I had a WONDERFUL trainer, who I grew comfortable with, but now he is gone. :(

This is my home gym it's always clean the customer service is always great they have a great team they always work together I love the massage chairs they always give me extra time and I also love the Hydro bed they give me extra time on that I absolutely love the environment when they say is it is a judgment free zone it really is!!!!! I enjoy the environment no one is worried about what I am doing and I am not worried about anyone else and also a lot of the people that go to this gym are really helpful if they see you doing something that will hurt you they help you out on your form in your position especially when you're dealing with the weights it's awesome I love it
