This place is great. They were pretty busy when I visited but it at 8 pm and during their busiest time. I love the PF Express 30 minute workout.

Nice location...220w attached stand up tanning as well as 160w lay down. Lockers are beautiful and have makeup mirrors and chairs... good for quiet truck parking with lots of shopping nearby...has all equipment except free weight leg sleds...large and immaculate with nice hot showers. Good job PF :)

A great place to exercise, the facilities are always clean and well-kept, tanning beds are always open. They have a very courteous staff who well-informed in professional. Throughout the years I have been remember at other facilities and this one by and large in my opinion is the best.

I love my gym. They are consistently improving machines, friendly and theres multiple locations you can go to!
Plus if you get the black card for 20 bucks. You get tanning and massage chairs. You cant even tan at a tanning place that cheap!

Best $20 I spend every month! Invest in yourself and get a membership. The equipment is really new. They just redid the whole gym not too long ago. The staff is really helpful if you have questions. Classes are offered free with your membership.
With the black card membership you can bring any number of different guests with you whenever you want. You can use the massage chairs, hydro massage beds, total body beds (red light therapy), and tanning beds. They're open 24/7. I highly recommend Planet Fitness for anyone wanting to improve their health, physical fitness and/or feel more confident. Get a membership and use it. Invest in your future self. You will never regret it.

One of my favorite places, great staff, sweet equipment. Good atmosphere. Go during the night if you are a night owl. Not too busy. Love that its open 24/7 !

This is a very good location. Friendly staff greets you as you come in. The whole place appears very clean and well maintained. The layout is well done. Even with a lot of people in there it doesn't get crowded.

I signed up a few weeks ago and when I arrived for the first time the guy told me they had trouble collecting the first months payment and I told him I'm not sure why because I had funds in the account and as far as I knew they had the correct information. He said I didn't need to be concerned about it to maybe give it a few more days to clear and if it doesn't then the next time I came in I could pay with my debit card. I said that would be fine. I came in tonight and the guy I talked to was very accusatory about my payment being late and said that normally there's a late fee and he'll wave it this time but not next time even though I explained the situation and offered to verify the checking account information and pay the amount due right then with my debit card. When he ran the payment he first initially ran it as a debit charge and then said his debit wasn't working and had me run it as a credit charge. Now it's showing two charges pending out of my account. The guy comments he only ran it once and he asks me can I call my bank now?! Mind you it's 11pm at night?! You are kidding me right?! I can't believe this he had the nerve to even ask me that. I'm so upset over this I'm going to seriously consider canceling my membership. This is a very unprofessional way to treat someone and to know your debit isn't working but run it anyway and it's caused an additional pending charge is absolutely unacceptable in my opinion!! Planet Fitness this isn't settling well with a new customer!!

This place sucks, not free weights, Smith machines only, I was using dumbbells and set them on the ground, I did not drop or slam them and the stupid lunk alarm went off in the building and the entire place stopped and started at me. I mean there is candy everywhere and they serve pizza here. This gym is for fat people to get fatter while taking you're money and keeping you coming. Also they get you trapped in their year contract and wouldn't let us cancel until the week it was supposed to renew, that way they were hoping we would forget and it would automatically renew and you'll be stuck for another year. I wish I could give this 0 stars.

I do miss the larger mats for stretching like the Lima and Dupont Planet Fitness. But overall I like this gym.

If you're a hard core weightlifter it's probably not for you; but if you're looking for a clean place to work out at a good price, you can't beat this. A lot of new staff is the only reason the score isn't higher, but hopefully will improve. Would have been a 5 star 6 months ago
Updated. After re-reading my post I see where you may have taken it more negatively than intended. My intent was not to be critical of new staff as much as express my appreciation for the old evening crew (who are still there but at different times). They always created such a fun environment that made it enjoyable to come in. I am sure the new people will fill in well (Lucas has been a great new addition), but I will always miss the old faces.

This re-opened grocery store now planet fitness can be easily seen from Maplecrest especially going north. Parking isn't bad although there is a gnarly pot holes for the easy escape and you have to use the 2 way stop. The parking lot is lit with a subtle orange light at night. The Hawaiian shaved ice place and burger King is temptingly close to this place of fitness which makes it convenient for crying into a whooper or brushing off the ice of your soul in order to become a civil human being.
It is opened 24 hours except for holidays. It has fifty percent cardio and fifty percent muscle building. They have stair master machine which is cool. There's a lot of tread mills and elliptical machine. Recently, they added upper body machines for cardio. The television collection is good but the closed captioning is only on sometimes which makes it hard to know what is going on in the shows. They have Fox news, CNN, abc, tbs, nbc, fox, NBC, sometimes HGN.
It has six tanning beds, a regulation light machine, hydro massage beds, and massage chairs. The massages are at least ten minutes. The tanning booth has the radio play so you don't have to sit in silence.You have to sign in via paper because the electronic signing in as rigged. They offer classes Monday through Friday. They have solid locker rooms which is nice.

Nic @ Maplecrest location FW has ALWAYS provided OUTSTANDING customer service. Erin is really sweet & happy to see the guests. Nic & Erin have a great TEAM with them in the evenings. Great job on finally making some improvements & updated equipment.

The place is closed for repairs. I found out when I saw a sign on the locked door. It stated they hope to reopen sooner than expected (4-26-18?) but who will know unless they start answering the phone? It would be great if they put their website to use and post this kind of important information for their members. Also I'm hoping that they are adding new equipment. It would be great to have a stair machine, weighted balls, balance balls, and resistant bands.
Update: I have NO complaints! They did an amazing job on the updates. The place has everything I wanted (see above) and so much more! Cardio machines are updated and new and the place is neat and so clean! Totally worth the inconvenience of the closing. A++ Planet Fitness!

One of many locations across the country, this particular Fort Wayne location has by far the friendliest staff! I usually go in the evenings and it's always easy to find equipment that's open AND clean!!! They do a great job with keep up. Biggest thing to me, they always say Hi and Bye!!!

The showers have black mold all over the grout, let alone if you can even use a shower. All week and most of last week one shower was out of order for flooding, which by the way, they just let it flood 3 times after being told by my-self and other ladies that the drain wasn't working.
Also - the other clients there are inconsiderate. Some people shower and change for over 30 minutes. When two showers are down and one is handicapped with literally 0 water pressure I was late to work 2x in the last 7 days.
Fix the showers. It is a multimillion dollar gym, buy some drain, hire a plumber! It is ridiculous the lack of care in the showers. I would recommend a few more showers also. There is only 3 real, and at 7am they are always full and people are waiting as well as 3 changing rooms. Most days I leave my belongings in the hall and jump in a shower while the previous user is changing. It's a poor set up. Needs serviced, and cleaned.

I was appalled by the lack of investment in this place. There was 13 treadmills with broken cases along where you walk :( the body enhancement machine, the bottom DOES NOT! WORK! WHY ON EARTH, HAVE CLIENTS THAT HAVE NON WORKING, supposedly or expected INVESTED EQUIPMENT? NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN. I'll go to Dupont and Lima Road. But seriously? What in the hell did I walk into? I stopped half way using the body enhancement machine. Unbelievable!!!
Showers are filthy too. There is a white scale all over ALL the shower doors. Need investment in training for cleaning this facility properly too. This is the worst gym I've been in for quite sometime.
5 stars because I know people will see it first. What a world we live in. Have to lie first to show truth.

1/29/18 update. Down from 5 stars to 3 due to the parking lot lights being out for the last week. Life happens but this has gone on too long especially in this weather. This is not safe!
Mid February update. Back up to 5 stars. I upgraded to black card and now using the infrared chamber, aqua massage bed and massage chair. Love it. Well worth the extra $10 a month. Plus I now bring a friend with me three times a week for free.

Membership requires a bank account. Why? Because overdraft protection can be bypassed if they withdraw directly from your bank. If you call to cancel membership, they make you come in and fill out a form or mail them a certidied letter. In 2017. Easy to join, not so easy to leave. Staff rude and unhelpful over the phone. Find a gym that doesn't see you as walking dollar signs. There's a reason it's cheap.

The staff is the best part of this gym, the really are great and very helpful. My only real complaint about planet is the lack of free weights, and with dumbbells only going up to 60 lbs if you are serious about lifting weight you will swiftly hit a plateau. As far as a "starter gym" or a place to cardio this is a great option for $10.
