Unbelievable. My wife and I had a membership. My family had been going here for years. I had gotten terribly ill from toxic exposure. I had a horrible reaction and was fighting for my life for well over a year. I kept my membership for a few months but it was clear I was getting worse, not better. I was stuck in bed. My wife went in to cancel our memberships. The guy at the counter didn't know how to cancel MY membership without me there. He told her to have me sign a paper. We followed his instructions. He said we were done and he would handle the rest. About two years later we get a notice from a collection agency for near $300, on top of another near $300 that they pulled from my account during the time I was stuck in bed. They had been charging us the whole time!
I am doing much better now. Thank God. I went in and I confronted them about it and told them what happened, expecting they would be reasonable. Not at all. I'm told they can't do anything about it and they still expect me to pay the bill. They say they will look into it and contact me back. I don't hear from them. Completely dismissive. I am preparing a court case now. What a lousy way to treat your customers.
