I've tried everything from Crossfit to TRX classes, from strict weight training to cycling, but NEVER, until I found OT, have I found "MY GROOVE". You wear a heart rate monitor which displays your HR on a big TV monitor. It clearly validates how hard you BELIEVE you are working... but keeps you honest if you are NOT. ALL skill levels can participate at the same time, as different distance goals are presented for walkers/joggers/runners when you are on the treadmill portion of class. When it is time for the weight stations, different variations of the moves are presented for different fitness levels. REGARDLESS of your fitness level, you can achieve the desired HR - represented by different color codes on the TV monitors. There are easier moves for beginners, that will move them into the desired orange/red zones. For athletes, more will be needed to get them into the orange/red zones, so BOTH will hit the desired HR at the same time. WOW!
