Great place with friendly people and wonderful staff. I've been coming here taking advantage of all the perks of being a black card member. I came in in a cast and in crutches and they had plenty of machines to accommodate my needs fully with very knowledgeable staff there were more than willing to help me in any way and show me around and explain all the areas and the machines and equipment in them. They have tanning bed available along with hydro beds for a water massage which feel great after a good workout and also they offer personal or group training all included with my membership which is the best $22.00 a month I've ever spent.
Oh I can't forget that once a month they cater in from Panera bread with free coffee and bagels and assortment of cream cheese to go with them and also they bring in pizza from Papa John's locally for free for everyone. Like I said it's the best $22 a month I've ever spent!

Unlike other gyms I been to in the past, planet fitness gym was supplied with every possible accommodation I could have hoped for. There were free weights, floor mats, resistance machines, a variety of aerobics cycles, and plenty of media monitors to keep my mind from getting bored. The people were helpful with using the equipment for the best result as well. From the time I arrived, the large dressing room provided me with much privacy and a locker room that I could not have imagined better. Going into my second week I'm all ready looking weight and know that I'll reach my weight lost goal and more. Planet fitness is the best* phil

24/7 open and affordable price. Plenty of machines and exercise to do. Lots of treadmills and elliptical machine.

For an economy gym, Planet Fitness Peoria is awesome. Clean facility. Friendly but not in-your-face staff. Depending on when you go, it can be crowded, but even during the after-work rush I never had to wait more than a couple minutes for a machine.
Equipment-wise, there is a great amount of cardio - treadmill, elliptical, stationary bicycle, and plenty of all. For strength training, there are dumbells all the way up to 50+ lbs. There are fixed bars up to 60 pounds. Unfortunately, no free barbells where you can load your own weights on. There are 5 Smith machines though so you can do most exercises you'd want.
The locker rooms are a decent size with plenty of lockers, always clean bathrooms, and surprisingly nice showers.
For the price, you can't beat it. The "upgraded" membership for $20/month allows you to bring one guest every visit, and includes unlimited tanning and massage chairs.

The only difference that I have noticed between my old home gym in Chicago (and the reason for the four stars) is here they close on some of the holidays while the other gym was open 24/7 with no excuses. Not everyone celebrates all of the holidays. Other than that, you can't beat it for the price!

It's a great gym for the price I would have given it 5 stars but some people don't wear deodorant and the b.o. Taco smell is killer, like dry heave worthy. And some people just don't clean up after themselves, like I want to sit in someone else's swass... gross!

I travel for work and visit new PFs every week, but this one is home base for now and deserves recognition for consistent excellence. Staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is always clean, and they clean and maintain the equipment on a regular basis. Keep up the great work.

I have enjoyed my experience with PF so far. My trainer, Penny, is great. She is patient and pleasant. Everyone in the facility is great and helpful. I didn't think I would like going to a gym, but PF makes it worth while.

Cancelled my account rejoined 9 months later to find out they didn't cancel my account and kept charging my account and that I must pay remaining balance before I come back. Don't know how that's my fault. Then the manager accused me of creating a new account so I did not have to pay the previous balance!

Excellent place to workout. Staff is friendly, but need more knowledgeable people working in your facilities. Equipment is clean for the most part, but some machines need maintenance. Tanning beds are excellent, but again the staff has no idea about or knowledge on tanning or product. Beds really need to be cleaned top to bottom after each tanner. I always re-clean the bed before I tan because I can see it's not done well. I've been a manager of a few different salons and am certified and have the knowledge.

The best gym money can buy! The staff are super friendly, and at $10/mo you can't beat the value. Open 24 hours a day means the gym fits into anyone's schedule. And when they say 'judgement free zone' they mean it. Great place to meet your fitness goals!
