Really enjoy the cleanliness of this gym. Never super crowded in the morning when I get there. All of the staff is extremely friendly and smiling whenever I walk in. For the price, it's definitely one of the nicer gyms I have checked out in terms of cleanliness and amount of different equipment. Would definitely recommend charter fitness to anyone in the area!

I really cannot say enough positive things about this gym! I have had gym memberships to almost all of the major chain gyms, as well as some privately owned gyms and my experience at Charter surpasses them all. It is a clean, friendly environment with a staff that truly cares about their members. I have worked with 2 personal trainers at this location and both have tailored workouts for me, taking into account my strengths and weaknesses, and have pushed me while also modifying for me in all of the right moments. If you are in the Naperville/Wheaton area and are looking for a gym, I highly recommend Charter Fitness!
I have been a member of Charter Fitness, Wheaton for over a year and a half. When I first started going there I was pretty intimidated about stepping into a gym. The manager, Jeremy, made me feel super welcome and comfortable. At his recommendation I worked out with a trainer for a while to get more comfortable with the equipment and to kick-start my efforts. (It worked!) This gym has always been clean and bright with plenty of equipment. Recently Jeremy has turned it up a notch, adding a greater variety of machines and a host of new classes for all skill levels. And, if that wasn't enough, the membership prices are super reasonable! I highly recommend.

Member since 2 years now. Up to date equipment and for prices starting at 10$ a month, its totally worth it. Usually not very crowded in evening and mostly can get equipment to work out without waiting.

Not 24/7 so that is dumb... they also require a 12month commitment for even the $10/m plan... thanks but no thanks...I'd rather go Planet and that is saying A LOT!
Beware! They keep charging you after you quit. Horrible customer "service."
Ive been charged the 39 dollar annuel fee every month since oct plus the monthly 19 dollar fee went in to cancel this month they charged me 3 times 39 dollars plus another 19 in one month cant get the fees to stop and when i went back in they said theres nothing they can do? I want my money back i guess my next step is to cancel my debt card to try to make the fees stop stay far away from this gym

This is a great looking gym, but when signing up for a membership, you are not told about a $40 annual service charge and a $60 cancelation fee...Very sneaky way to cheat you out of money.

They advertise 0 down then charge you $40 after 3 months. This was not mentioned during sign up and it comes across as a little shady as they also make you sign a contract. I won't be renewing when the contract ends and I will be going back to Planet Fitness. You also can't cancel the auto renewal unless you send them a letter. So thats kind of inconvenient. Oh well. Lesson learned.
