My boyfriend found this place through Groupon, so we ended up purchasing the $10 for 5 visits. We started last week by going two times a week and our kids really like it. It is a little far for us I think to continue but we will have to see. The master gave us a very good price to continue to take lessons here so we will have to decide. But the master is awesome! My kids have really been behaving better. So I think it make a difference! If you live near Wheaton definitely check them out!
My son has attended classes for a couple of years now. He's developing physical and mental skills that you just can't get at school. Most importantly, his confidence level has skyrocketed. I highly recommend this particular school for anyone with kids!
My son and I take classes here and are very satisfied. My sons self-confidence has skyrocketed since starting classes a year ago. Since I began taking classes a month ago I've noticed substantial improvements in my health. Mr. Sul is a fantastic instructor that provides a personal touch to his instruction.
I have 2 boys (ages 4 and 7) that have been taking classes from Mr Sul for one year now. I absolutely love the program! My boys enjoy each class, working both physically and mentally. Mr Sul emphasizes respect and positive behavior. What a difference! An overall fantastic program!
I had a lo of fun at Girl Scouts at this place!!

Great program and instructors. My son started at 6 years old and loves it.
Great for kids
Fantastic School. I sought it out to help my daughter gain confidence and discipline. She has progressed to amazing levels and eventually it became a whole family participation. The instructors are awesome, but tough, as they should be. All the families are part of one big family.
My child has been going here for 3 years and loves this school. He has learned a lot and enjoys going to class because of the great instructors. The facility is top notch - VERY clean, all new equipment, high end mats, brightly decorated and professional. The owner is a fantastic teacher and martial artist himself with great attention to detail, and the staff instructors are excellent teachers, very warm and friendly, and very good with kids as well.
It's an ATA school - so that means they also concentrate on overall fitness with lots of running, stretching, and strength training exercises along with the usual learning martial arts forms/kicking/breaking boards stuff, which is something you can't find at other local martial arts schools. I like that my child gets a good workout during class while also learning his forms and sparring. As far as the martial arts portion - this school allows students earlier access to work with weapons and to experience sparring then other schools do in the area and the requirements for testing pretty much match those of other schools.
They will start kids as young as 3, but know that your child at that age is not going to get anything out of it unless you really stick with going to class...something to consider before opening your wallet because Taekwondo is an expensive sport, but if you really take advantage of all that the school and ATA have to offer, and stick with going to classes on a regular basis, it is WELL worth it.
Over the years this school has gone through some bumps and learning curves, but now it is truly a fantastic school!!!
