Great gym and friendly management. It makes sense John (review below) tried to cancel as you wont find any dingleberries like him training here.

While the gym has a rugged feel, in the nature of Rocky, there is a concern about poor management and ownership. The gym is very uncomfortable with very old equipment and poor promises that equipment will be updated. Personal training is something to be desired much like a trip to the dentist. And speaking of the dentist, when attempting to cancel membership, it is like pulling teeth. An appropriate notice to cancel renders responses that are tantamount to intimidation. This owner believes he has the right to continue taking funds not rightfully due to him (i.e. Training funds thirty days after cancelling per policy). Shameful and shady business practices. Litigation will likely be the result, unfortunately. Be wary of this 'gym' and select a more well known gym in the area. You will be thankful that you did.
