Very frustrating place to have a good experience. The owner is a self-proclaimed yoga guru complete with pony-tail, however, he does not like to be questioned or challenged. Such as; on a credit card charge that showed on my account a month after I'd stopped going or why he would not make a paying customer aware of an existing Groupon deal and charge that customer full price as I asked him about after taking 1 class. He just told me that he (The Owner) really has nothing to do with Groupon (huh?). These are just two small examples of the bad vibe and in my view bad business that exists at this place. Other turn offs: carpeted hot yoga floor that smells like stink and feet, majority of classes are recorded (no instructor there so you can have a truly individual challenge). There are so many nicer places with nicer people to go to. This is a Control Freak Owner who operates under the guise of martial art, discipline and practice. More like a weird cult wannabe. Stay away. Believe all the other 1 star reviews.

I love Tiger Dog Hot Yoga. I've been practicing there for six years. I love having the 60 and 70 min options. As an added bonus it's definitely the cleanest hot yoga studio I've ever seen.

One of the best classes I ever took. I've taken Bikram Yoga and over six states and four countries I really like the style over here the owner who was the trainer/teacher was very point on new how to give attention to each and every student and brought out our weaknesses while teaching us how to overcome them, unlike other places where they just want to make you feel better and come back.

Very bad vibe at this so-called "yoga studio". After paying top-dollar to a condescending, arrogant owner with no apparent expertise in the matter, a person can expect to be treated rudely. Studio hygiene is well, questionable. The philosophy here seems to be "Do as I say" with no real rationale. I would suggest checking out the numerous 1 star reviews on YELP if you have your doubts. There are so many choices of studios out there, appreciative of the business that actually have instructors in the class rather than an unseen, self-anointed "genius" on tape. Don't waste your time and money.

Just celebrated my sixth anniversary at Bikram Yoga Evanston. Need I say more?

I've been practicing at Bikram Yoga Evanston for over two years. The teachers are excellent - caring and knowledgeable. The owner is great. It is obvious when you take a class with him that he owns the studio because he loves Bikram and wants to help make people healthy. The teachers stress that if you do your personal best, you get the benefit of the yoga and that everyone is different. "Different bodies, different postures". The studio is scrupulously clean.

I have been to Bikram studios all over the country-- I travel, I go there for a break and exercise, and every time I come home craving this studio. They get it RIGHT. It's the perfect temperature, the perfect humidity, you can just feel it by being in the room. And, by the way, they're proud of it. You get the sense that they work very hard to maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in which you can practice. And they push you enough that you can't sit on your tush. I've been coming for two years now and I can honestly say it is life changing, but it is also, in the manner of life changing things, hard. Don't expect it to be easy because it isn't, but it will change your body and change your mindset towards your life.
