Love this place and they offer classes for almost anything I recently had my kids enrolled in the swim classes and they loved them, sometimes too much lol :)
We had my sons birthday party at the pool during the "ice storm" the lifeguards were amazing. We had the best time. Even setting the event up was super easy, will definitely be doing his party there again. Thanks for making my son's party the best ever!
Really great spot. The kids camps are nice and the pool is a real find.
My husband had his locked locker broken into-- keys, license and clothing stolen. Half hour later, the thief was knocking on my door. Had to change the locks on the house and car. No one is at the front desk, anyone can get into the locker room. There is no security, and no follow up. This has always been a problem there.

Diversified rec center that always has something for everyone! Whether it be working out, taking a swim lesson, play racketball or even taking a walk on the indoor track, the Centre has activities for all ages! Have been going here as a patron since I was a kid and now i work as a lifeguard. great service, great people, great times.

The center of Elgin is a good walk in through water park but there's not as much things to do but there's is good place has diving board has everything it's a good indoor park it's not dirty but when I was swimming as the years go on and on and on I got a little bit dirty but yeah you know the lifeguards are good no one's needed it over to her and that's good

The facility was great but USA Youth Hoops from Indiana( Amy to be exact)... who hosted a basketball tournament 5/25-5/27 called the police on our family because she thought we were trying to sneak in after spending $60 for weekend passes the day prior. I informed her that the guy working the table an hour or so earlier took the band that was on my purse and stated when my husband parked that he would give him another one. I went to the table to remind the guy of the conversation we just had an hour ago and he acted as if the conversation didn't take place. I didn't mention that we drove to Chicago from St. Louis and missed 2 of my son games that day because Amy has the police to make us leave. After Amy assaulted my husband and waited for the police to leave she tried to give my husband his pass stating she had a change of heart....after we had missed the game and dealt with the cops. Sometime you have to listen and use common sense but Amy had it already made up in her mind that we were trying to sneak in...what a shame.
Then I called a guy name Will to discuss the issue and he could care even less than Amy. We shell out major cash traveling to see our children play then pay to get into tournaments only to have the COPS called for her to put on a dramatic show and say she is afraid.

There are a lot of fitness centers and work out facilities in the area but the Center is a cut above. With pool, rehab connection with Sherman health, walking track, various fitness programs and trainers and just a totally positive attitude by the staff and friends you will make here, it is a good health answer.

I've been coming to this place since 2011 and I love it! It is super convenient for a parent to work out while kids are at a preschool at the same building! They also offer a babysitting, tons of classes for the whole family, climbing wall, indoor pool/waterpark, free track .....My kids love this place and so do I.
The preschool is awesome! Pools are clean and reasonably priced. Swim lessons are also reasonably priced but be sure to pay for semi private (4-1 ratio) instead of the regular class (8-1 ratio). The indoor walking track is free to residents and is located above the basketball court.
Free parking garage including handicap parking spaces in front of the building, handicap accessible facility, indoor aqua amusement area, walking track on upper floor, heated therapy pool... My personal favorite, weight lifting and machine area, free public bathrooms for customers including family changing rooms, separate handicap accessible male and female shower and locker areas. Bring your own towels and locks for the lockers! Drop-in fee or purchase a membership. Sherman hospital rehabilitation onsite!

I LOVE the Centre! The Fitness Center is clean and spacious. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. I appreciate the variety of programs they offer young children, too, including the childcare services. The new pool renovations are great, too! This is hands-down the BEST gym!
I'm not a Centre member but I like the fact that their indoor track is open to the public and it's free. I'm normally outside running in all kinds of weather but during the winter I sometimes prefer an indoor run on the Centre track. Nice facility!
Awesome place. Warm inside, plenty of space. Pools /Adventure Island is worth it for the kids!
I'm happy with the people there I'm getting basketball training drills and post drills mid range shooting drills and perimeter
It has everything you could really want out of a fitness centre. The rock climbing wall is a personal favorite of mine. The staff there is really chill and laid back and want to help you improve your climbing. The pool is also nice. It's fairly clean (for a public pool) and they also offer swimming classes for those who need it. Their memberships are affordable. I personally paid only $130.00 for a 1 year platinum membership. That is all inclusive. They have short term child care, a work out gym, an indoor track, four basketball courts and they offer many fitness classes as well as a random ceramics class. It is a great facility. Two thumbs up.
I go here for physical therapy at the sight of Sherman Hospital. It is so very convenient and I have worked with the same therapist for almost 10 years, she is absolutely the best. It is a wonderful environment.
