I liked this branch of Planet Fitness but it has limited equipment which requires some improvisation with exercises. The front desk people were very nice and helpful and the view from inside is also amazing. For a quick workout that doesn't require lots of equipment, this place is perfect but if you need more options and fancier equipment then it is better to check out other branches.

This Planet Fitness location is FANTASTIC, I want to thank Steve for his support on my weight loss journey, he is THE BEST! I love the facility, very positive, very clean, so far, Iost 16 lbs, the best decision I made to become a black card member!

I would give a negative star if I could. The facility themselves lack any sort of machines or weights to actually lift. Additionally when you attempt to cancel your membership they make you go through loops and hurdles. I have attempted to cancel my account for over 3 months now. I have submitted the proper paperwork they had lost. The affordable 10$ a month is not worth it when you spend 40$ for a club you haven't even been able to use.

Love the fact that they are 24 hrs Mon-Thurs. I work second shift so thats perfect seeing as how my job is 3 blocks away and I get off work at 11PM. Nice selection of equipment and hydro massage tables available.

I would definitely recommend visiting any gym you are thinking of joining before actually getting a membership. You want to gather how you feel in the atmosphere. I requested a tour of the gym, which I will admit it isn't the biggest gym, but it is a solid place to work on your fitness goals. Maintain your expectations. This gym has a good atmosphere, clean equipment, decent staff, and the people here are just working out nothing more, nothing less.

Great gym with great benefits. This location is quite smaller than my home location and they stay pretty packed throughout the day. Just wish they were open 24/7 on the weekends. That had been the one downfall that is consistent with each location. There are only like 3 or 4 that are 24/7 everyday of the week. Either in the northern suburbs, Southside or over in Bucktown area. Nothing that's 24/7 in the downtown or Lakeview area. Only 24/5.

This is a nasty Planet Fitness. The staff is the rudest I have ever seen at a gym, and they like to make up fake rules that they say gym members must follow. They will not help you at all, and most of the time they are not even behind the reception desk, as they should be, but wandering around outside, or even sleeping in one of the massage beds. Disgusting! The bathrooms and locker rooms are always dirty, smell like mold, and I cannot believe the Department of Health lets them continue to operate. This location has also had its fair share of "police incidents" and crimes at a much higher rate than the area as a whole, which is a good area. I have been a Planet Fitness member for a long time and have never seen anything like this. This place needs to be investigated! Two particular employees with disciplinary records who are known to harass customers and literally sleep on the job are Reshawn and Tony

I have been a member of this gym for multiple years, I love it and use it almost every day.

No AC, fans barely work. This has been going on for the entire summer. Staff helpful but upper management utterly useless. Have mentioned it to front desk multiple times, front desk responds that the owners know about it and are `working' on it. 4 months later they are still working on it.

I waited 30 minutes on the front desk. no one was working at that time there was a line of people and people working out said to go check on the back room because that's where they normally hang out. I knocked and no one showed up after 30 minutes. I left and called the corporate office left a voicemail and no one returned my calls 3 days later send an email and nothing happened definitely going to cancel my membership. This place is a joke. There's so many people out there with good job skills and they hired the worst.

In the summer it gets unbearably hot, and the giant ceiling fans just blow the hot smelly air around the gym. I'm honestly surprised more people aren't passing out in that gym, but if you're into things like hot yoga, this might be the perfect place for you!

Itty bitty teenie weenie. Bare minimum of equipment. They do the best they can with the size, but when rush hour hits, you're constantly waiting.

Without warning, they cancelled the parking next door. No signs up warning that it was coming to an end. I parked in the lot and then when i went in to get it validated, front desk informed me that they were no longer going to allow that. Really wish they still had parking now i will have to go to a different gym.

This is a great location. The gym is smaller than most of the PF's I have visited, but fully functional.

At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. They make the most of the small space with a good amount of equipment and machines. The locker room is tiny and cold during the winter.

Good. But they only validate parking for one hour. It would be great if they did 1 hour and 15 minutes that way you can get in full workout and shower.

I've been a member on and off of this gym since 2015. The locker room is cold in the winter and the shower stalls are tollerable but can get disgusting at times. Water pressure and temperature has never been an issue for me. One of the bathroom stall doors was broken off the hinge for a month or two in late 2017. The gym equipment is fine and and realtivly well managed. It's a nice location to start an outdoor run on the riverfront. I've never really interacted with the staff, so I can't comment on that. You get what you pay for.

Wow! I get so many good vibes from this location! The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the manager... I think her name is Amanda. Everyone always greets you with a smile on their face, and I feel like they are quick to resolve issues. It's very convenient for where I work, and the cleanliness has really improved. Overall, I've had nothing but great experiences.

Not sure what "Krystal Baez" and "Carolina Flores" are talking about. This location is so clean you can eat off the floor. Not that I'm recommending that by any means! Ha! The staff have had some turnaround but this group has been wonderful so far. I love the classes and Alex is a great trainer.

Amanda has been wonderful from the day she signed me up. Never had any issues with the club itself except the music is hit and miss. Location is clean, employees are welcoming and who can beat their prices? No one.

There's always a deal!

If I can give 0 starts I would. I came to this planet fitness because my hotel was across and I am a black card member at a different facility in Las Vegas. Only to find out that the bathroom is always dirty no matter what day I went . The machines are very dusty and the Manger with the name Amanda was no help, one of the staff members ( Asian looking short with glasses) was always in his phone. The only helpful person was a girl by the name of Guadalupe.

I've been a Planet Fitness member for a handful of years now, and been to a few different gyms, but this location is hands down the best. The convenience of their classes and its location have done wonders for my workout routine, but it's really the staff that bring it all together. Being able to walk into your gym and know the names of the employees is such a welcoming feeling. I've got to give a special shout out to Brandon and Alex- Brandon runs a great store and Alex works my ass off. I feel pretty certain that without this gym, it would've taken me a LOT longer to get in the groove of fit and healthy. Life changing. Huge thanks.

The manager at this gym cancelled my membership because I recovered my stolen personal property from another member who was using it at the gym and earlier in the day admitted to having stolen it and refused to return it. Despite being given a police report and shown the thief's written admission, the thief was permitted to continue his membership while mine was cancelled. That's fine. I'll take my concerns to higher authorities.

This Planet Fitness is fantastic. I usually go over night and the workers are always helpful and making sure everything is in order. Miguel Gonzalez is working when I go and takes care of everything and anything. Very clean and welcoming staff, even with the hectic setting of downtown Chicago. Highly reccomend joining here.

Very small gym for being in downtown chicago. Does not have full equipment however it is functional. Very nice workers here.
