I must say I enjoy UFC gyms'. I was surprised to go to the gym as a paying member and to find out it was closed. As in closed for business not for the day. I did not enjoy not being notified. When you call the UFC national line the only thing they do to assist is say go to the location and cancel. However, the location no longer existed and I had to take another route with out there assistance. UFC gyms are franchised own. I've not ever met the owner but not being notified of current circumstance as a paying customer was not the best route. I will say other than some issues with customer service the instructors at this gym are amazing. Have a passion for fitness and have a passion for pushing you to be your best self.

This is the worst location ever. They are very unprofessional and try to scam people out of money. No one goes to the gym anyway which is a red flag about their customer service skills. I canceled my membership a year ago. They continued to charge me for a gym membership and even said I owed them money which they reported as delinquent. I am in the process of trying to get this fixed so it doesn't mess up my credit. I even called the manager 10 times about this and he did nothing. He said he was going to speak to his district manager and never returned my call. I went to my bank and they can only reverse a certain amount of charges. This gym is not professional at all so do not waste your time going there. There are so many other gyms in Chicago that are more professional and that provide excellent customer service.

I've been a member for a while. The gym is great and they have all of the equipment I want to use. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also take personal training sessions. My trainer, Darian, is very knowledgeable and he's very interested in seeing me progress. It's an overall great experience and I would definitely recommend.

Excellent Adult group classes and Youth Classes! Kids friendly, welcoming ambience, give it a try, totally worth it !

If I can give zero stars, I would because I've never been in a business where the employees treat you so unprofessionally. I was a PAYING customer who wanted to use the open gym time slots, the boxing ring specifically. An employee, Josh, rudely and condescendingly told us that he needed the ring and after stating to him that BOTH the website and the paper schedules showed open gym times when we were using it, he says that they can be taken up by private lessons without stating on their site or their paper schedules. Do you guys understand how to communicate with and treat, again, PAYING customers? Would you kick someone out from the bench who was in the middle of doing bench presses and say that you need it for a "private lesson"? No, you respectfully wait until they have completed using it. I thought mixed-martial arts was about teaching humility, compassion, discipline. Please avoid this gym at all costs and go to a nearby gym if possible. Absolutely unacceptable behavior.

I never post online reviews but am honestly at the end of my rope and think people should be warned of this gym's terrible business practices. I have been charged a monthly membership for over a year despite following their cancellation protocol. I have called and emailed numerous times, and yet I still keep being charged. While certain employees have been very sympathetic, and I appreciated their professionalism, it does not make up for the fact that this gym has wrongfully charged me hundreds upon hundreds of dollars. I still have yet to be given a refund. Just don't go here - your sanity and wallet will thank you.

We used to LOVE "this" gym. Then they changed locations. The new layout, while more "spacious", is actually quite awful. When they changed locations they kept trying to sell people on all the new equipment they'd get since they'd have the space - new cardio, weights, etc. They've been at the nee locarion for quite some time now and yet no new fitness equipment. AND....for me the biggest peeve is actually in trying to get there. They don't validate parking anywhere and street parking is a damn mess trying to find a spot around there so we haven't even been able to return. What a waste. They had great trainers/classes, but what good is that to the people that were loyal at their previous location? Offer some sort of a parking option for your customers!!! And do something about your layout. It makes absolutely no sense.

I joined this gym around March of 2017 and I have no plans of discontinuing my membership as long as I'm living in the South Loop area. The manager for this particular location, Angelo, does a great job of promoting the gym as well as making you feel part of the UFC family. He has personally helped me find a workout plan that fits my schedule and was even flexible around payment plans for personal training sessions. I have already trained 20+ hours with my personal coach Paul, and have noticed immediate results working around a custom work out plan that we have developed. Focusing on the basics of boxing, Paul was especially helpful in showing me exactly where/how I needed to improve the efficiency of my workouts. This was even after just a couple of 1-1 sessions with him. Plus the gym is also going through a bit of a remodeling phase of all 3 floors, adding to more of the 'neighborhood boxing gym' feel and ambiance it already gives off. 5 stars out of 5!
