This registered dietitian was recommended to me by a company in Highland Park, IL. I was told by Nutrition by Bowman, (I also seen guess previous customer one star review today on yelp under PhysioLife Studios) I get two visits then one month of email support. My second visit was last week. I started the new meal plan on August 26,2019. I explained upfront, I am detailed oriented and I will ask questions to better understand. I am already a healthy eater, wanted to gain weight, increase metabolism, needed guidance in eating the right amounts of protein, carbs and healthy fat. The meal plan provided to me appeared to be Keto diet. Which I have zero experience with this type of meal plan. After looking over the 12 page plan, I had questions I sent an email Thursday (8/22) never received a response until 8/26 and then not all of my questions was answered. On Tuesday 8/27, I sent another email with some of the same questions and a few new ones. By Thursday (8/29) morning I still had not received a response. I decided to send her a text message. Then I received a response to some of my questions. I then sent a text message to her with 4-5 more questions. She answered some of my question in email not all. By this time I am offended with the email support service I have been receiving and this is my first week on the new plan. I started feeling as though this will only get worse. I sent her a text message inquiring about the refund policy if we ended the email support now (8/30). Since I am not receiving full email support as promised for 30 days. Again just started on 08/26, I wasn't asking for a full refund. She offered and provided me with a full refund. This has shown me that Nutrition by Bowman is not in business to help people with nutrition. It is more about selling her Physico, Metagenics, Design by Health and etc products. Which are all outrageously over priced, yes of course the prices works great for celebrities.
We have all as women balanced work and personal life (ie working 40+ hours a week, raising kids, being a wife, mother, daughter, friend and etc). Each day we wake up and of great health, we should all look up and say thank you God. I pray this post helps Nutrition By Bowman and others. People come to registered dietitians for personal guidance, respect and great service, I received none of those words. Take care
