One of the best gyms I have ever been to! Facilities are great. I wish I had more time there in Chicago to workout more days in FFC.
I went here once when my usual FFC at Union Station's steam was out. Nice facility, people are definitely there to be seen. As a married guy(grateful to be out of that race) it can be a lot.
The best gym in the loop. Equipments are great, trainers are friendly and experienced. Membership includes towels, steam, sauna, free sessions (zumba, spin class, etc.) indoor pool and out door pool experiences.
It has multiple studios, including a heated one, a huge, open strength floor, 2 cardio floors, an outdoor bar and pool and great instructors!
This gym has all of the equipment and facilities you could ask for. In my experience, even at peak hours you never have to wait more than 5-10 minutes to squat / bench. 24/5 hours are really nice as well

Jason (GM), Mike (GSM), Lana & Torrence on the member services team, and Chris (Personal Trainer I worked out with) have collectively made my experience great. This is a great gym and staff. They care about their members and always go the extra mile. I appreciate you guys!

Great facilities, programs and instructors. Clean and convenient too!
Crowded, everyone uses their cellphones and it's hard to get on machines. People even use cell phones in the locker room. The class offerings are good. Just a hard place to workout because no one let's you work in because they're on their phones. Better to come at lunch or early morning when people just want to workout fast.. update. Twice in the last two times I started using towels that had weird stains on it. This is the recent so I'd recommend bringing your own towel.
Ppl also won't let you in on machines even if you ask nicely. Then you ask for help to work and it takes 3 staff members before someone will help. After 10 minutes the person left already

Convenient downtown location w parking validation. I go to swim laps and it's my least favorite FFC pool. Very shallow (maybe 3 ft at one end), short (not 25m) and often cloudy. The steam room smells like mildew and is not that hot.

Very clean gym, very professional staff free parking up to two hours with validation equipment is updated and always clean and in good working condition .
Between the four closest FFCs to me, this is by far the nicest. Indoor and outdoor pool, very clean locker rooms, and great selection of equipment.
Annie should teach all the yoga classes on the weekend. She's like a blast of positive vibes and energy on Saturday, and then Amanda rains on everyone's Sunday morning with all her negativity.
I've beern in this gym for 6 months now. And I can say this with confidence; money well spent . Perfect exercise , amazing workout machines , lively vibes, great PTs , outdoor and indoor pool .
I love going to workout their . I would say it redfines what exercise means to me now .
Worth the 5 stars , would give more if I could.

I joined FFC West Loop in 2012 when I lived in Presidential Towers (PT). At that time, I was offered a discount rate which was never revised or reviewed over the years by staff at FFC West Loop. I moved out of Presidential Towers in late 2014. I was informed in December 2017 that my discount rate is no longer valid as I don't stay in PT anymore. I disputed the increase in charge as I thought I was not given Resident offer, but a holiday offer. The person I met in 2012 told me that they have a holiday offer (it was Thanksgiving /Christmas) going on. When I met Emily to discuss this, she was RACIST and RUDE. I told her that I think this was a holiday offer, not a resident offer. And even if it was a resident offer, it is not my fault that it was never reviewed. It is clearly the fault of Staff , management, audit team at FFC West Loop which never reviewed it. In turn, she told me that we have been doing you a FAVOR by not increasing the charge. How come an error overlooked by the company's employees is a FAVOR to its customers. I was shocked by her tone and behavior. Customers/Clients make a place by paying their monthly dues. You are not doing any favor to me as I didn't attend your gym free of charge and paid fees as mentioned in the agreement. If you have not revised the agreement, in no terms it is a FAVOR to me. And since you are not doing any FAVOR to the customers, I suggest the management & staff to be professional and polite to them.

Horrible company/ customer service. Good luck cancelling your membership, even with a month to month membership. I was billed months after first notifying the front desk of my intention to cancel (they failed to tell me it had to be done in writing). When I was finally able to cancel my membership, they failed to notify me that there was a remaining balance on the account. Three months later, I start getting calls from a collections agency, to find outs its FFC. I've tried calling the gym multiple times for help, and the manager or billing departments are always in meetings or on the phone and they will have to call me back. Surprise, they never call back. A truly awful experience. Stay far away from this gym or risk getting scammed out of $400 and months of frustration.

Bad experience with the management. Come here every year when visiting Chicago. It's clear they do not communicate with one another and guest experience is not very important. I will be taking my business to east bank when visiting in the future.

Some trainers are great ( thank god I got one of them), but rest need to work on their time management, communication and stop staring away customers.I know a trainer who hits on every girl in the gym. It is very funny. The equipment count went down a lot this month and there were talks like gym is going out of business, but that is not true. In addition, they are getting rid of active trax, I hate it but there are apps like Nike training which I can try. New management is in money saving mode which is a concern for me as a customer. I love the pool and locker room.The gym is neat and clean always.

Location is nice and more if you live in PT Presidential Towers, the problem is that spinning bikes don't work, also there is not a court (basketball nor soccer nor something else). Membership is not life membership:) if you try to come back you gotta pay all again. Place gets packed around 7pm, it should be nice to have more space.
