Amazing classes and instructors! I love the daily variety of exercises that continuously keeps me on my toes. The instructors are caring, informative, and never make you feel intimidated because of your limitations. Steven at check-in is an added bonus, he quickly knows most people by name and he is extremely friendly and accommodating.

I started attending classes about two weeks ago and I am sold. The classes are so energetic, the instructors are knowledgeable and the workouts are never exactly the same. What I enjoy the most is the diversity of individuals in the class. Whether you are a beginning or a pro, you will feel comfortable and supported by both the instructor and your peers during the workout. I purchased a 30-day Groupon, but I plan to continue working out at crosstown. What a wonderful community- highly recommend!

This is such a great workout! Love how much each class differs. I never get bored of the workouts and always feel challenged. It is a great way to incorporate more strength training into your routine and never feels intimidating. It is about 40 minutes of an intense HIIT workout with a short warmup before and optional stretching after. I recommend this place to everyone!

Just getting to know the CrossTown Fitness community and can say that so far I'm impressed. The work outs are tough, but can be adjusted for a variety of fitness levels. The instructors are available throughout the class and very helpful. I totally messed up in one of the circuits and the instructor noticed and helped get me on track. The members in my group were also encouraging during the work out. I'm excited to get to know this community better!

Completely impressed with the Lakeview location of CrossTown fitness! I am new to Chicago and was excited to enjoy some of the great fitness options in the city. I happened upon CrossTown fitness and have enjoyed every class so far. The facilities are always clean and the staff and trainers are very friendly and helpful. I've not found many gyms to be so welcoming to newcomers.

One of my favorite workout facilities in Chicago. The instructors always put together a new workout and the music is great. I strongly recommend this for people of all ages and exercise abilities.

Love this place! I'm happy that a gym like this opened in Roscoe Village. It makes it very convenient to attend before and after work.

The classes are always very high-energy, challenging, and well-organized, too, which keeps me coming back :)

Amazing! Classes are very dynamic. I honestly enjoy exercising in CTF. Staff is very friendly. Good combination of cardio and strength. Love it!

This gym does a great job of pushing you outside your comfort zone with new moves, all sectioned in various stations. I love that it's different every time, and the variety of moves/timing/sets/repetitions makes the class go by so quickly. The instructors are knowledgeable and great at correcting form in a polite way. My only issue is that I do feel it's catered more to an experienced person when it comes to fitness. I sometimes have a hard time on some of the equipment specifically, like pull-ups with bands or various kettle bell moves that might feel awkward at first. They do show modifications, which is helpful. And it's great to be pushed past your current level, just more something to note if you are a beginner or not as experienced on an array of equipment and props.

Great gym! No two classes are ever the same, and all of the instructors are helpful and supportive. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great workout!

If you're looking for a community to uplift you and your health goals, CTF is the place. The trainers are great and push you to be better, but never force you past your limits. There's so much good energy in this studio!

Great workout! The instructors are very attentive, detailed, and give you a fantastic full body session. It is one of my favorite gyms in the city. I highly recommend if you want to get your butt kicked (in a good way obviously).

CrossTown Fitness is one of my favorite group classes in Chicago. Classes are always challenging and a good workout. The instructors are well prepared, professional and friendly. If you're looking to mix up your routine and get some motivation from a great class and environment, I definitely recommend CTF!

Great workout, never bored and always total body. You typically rotate between 4/5 stations multiple times through with a great mix of cardio and weights. Be prepared to be sore but SO glad that you went to class

Crosstown fitness is an excellent place for group fitness. The workouts are challenging and fun. The instructors are always energetic. I do group fitness classes all over the city and this place is my favorite.

I started going to Crosstown Fitness looking for a change in the normal gym routine. I love how every class is different, which makes working out a lot more exciting! I've done many exercises that I never would have ever tried on my own. All the teachers push you to do your best. I'll definitely come back again!

I love CTF! The trainers are great and they create new and challenging workouts every class. The facility is nice, with a lot of different equipment and weights for everyone to make the most of their workout.

Love this gym -- the total body classes always deliver! Knowledgeable and enthusiastic trainers. I feel like I am always pushed to take it a notch higher -- and at the same time, they are skillful enough to help modify as necessary (e.g.: for injury/recovery)!

The classes are fun, challenging, and different every single day. The trainers all do a great job moving you through routines and offering variations of movements that fit your fitness level and goals. I always feel amazing after I leave this place.

Getting started working out again after some injuries and this has been a great experience allowing me to adapt the exercises to meet my needs and the trainers are really attentive to those of us with special needs! Plus it is fun and moves fast so you don't get bored, before you know it, the work out is over. And everyone here is really nice from the trainers to the fellow students.

I LOVE this studio! All of the trainers are amazing. I have never felt more in shape or been pushed harder in the right way. Every class is different and every instructor is different too, awesome variety. I am joining this studio. Best workout in Chicago!

The instructors are SO welcoming and nice. They are really attentive and come help you as needed during the class. I always leave class feeling like I had a challenging, but enjoyable workout.

Love this place! Definitely a killer workout but it's constantly moving so you're never bored. Love how everything rotates - super positive and encouraging environment. Would recommend to people of all fitness levels (looking to get their butt kicked!)

Good stuff here. Lots of interval training, with options of strength-focused (minimal cardio) or more balanced (with plenty of cardio). I also did a mobility class that was all pressure-point work, which relieved my (quite) sore muscles from the classes I took earlier in the week. Trainers are very good about correcting form, especially with newcomers. Relaxed group, non-judgmental, encouraging (but, thankfully, without the weird insider cult-like vibe that could easily be present at a place like this). All around great experiences!

I love that I've been going for two years and there's nothing to get tired of! Each class is different and each instructor has his/her own style. I usually leave covered in sweat and feel like I got my butt kicked no matter how great of shape I think I'm in. It could be a tad bit heavier on the cardio, but that's something I could regulate on my own. CTF does offer the run classes that could take care of that as well.

I really like your space. It's clean and well organized. I don't feel skeezed out when doing floor work. The Strength workout was very challenging and fun.I liked the instructor.

The total body strength workout was an intense workout and they had super friendly staff. The trainer, Amy, was super helpful and helped me find modifications for things that I was just not strong enough for. She introduced herself to me just before class started and made sure to let me know what the class was about and to see if I had any questions. I'm super sore today from that workout but it's a good sore that I haven't felt in a while.

Are you looking to get in shape or are you looking to get in better shape? If you are the former, like me, this place is not for you. I signed up for a 2 week trial and have been to four sessions so far. I have never felt more out of place and out of my league.

This place is for younger people who are already in shape and looking to improve. The instructors briefly demonstrate the exercises and then spend most of the session keeping time. They don't offer alternative exercises if you struggle with what's scheduled. They barely check to see if you know proper form. I am middle aged and overweight and trying to improve myself. This studio makes me feel even worse about my fitness because I can't keep up with everyone else and they don't make any effort to make new people feel welcome and supported.

If you are younger and in good shape, this place will push you to new levels. You'll get a great workout.

Avoid Saturday morning. They overbook the classes. The one I went to had over 35 people working out in a very tight space.

Stephanie Roundtree was my trainer for the class I recently attended. For a large class, she still was able to give individual attention to correct form and adjust weight. The space is always clean and comfortable. My only complaint: CTF is not in my budget to make part of my regular exercise routine.

Absolutely love this place. The trainers and clients make for a great atmosphere to workout together! Trainers explain things brilliantly and are always on hand to help with form, scaling up or down on a movement depending on your needs and level! Could not recommend CTF enough!
