Let me start by saying, I LOVE Orange Theory - it is my favorite fitness concept. I was very disappointed with my experience at this facility. First, I had a friend that was looking to try the class for the first time. I understand the policy of arriving 30 minutes early, and she arrived over 20 minutes early - I was absolutely shocked when they didn't let her take the class. Again, I get the policy, but the class was not crowded, and there were 3 other people standing around at the front desk that could have easily done a quick run through with the potential client. The instructor can't even take you into the studio until the class was done - I was appalled that they would turn away a potential client, and opportunity for revenue, because of a "policy" - a policy that is 30 minutes, because they assume people will be late. Then, I was traveling in from out of town and had my heart rate band - when I signed up for the class, the girl at the front desk didn't ask for my monitor number - I had to remember before class started. She then brought it to me and said in a condescending way "you have 10 minutes left". So, I asked if they had a monitor to borrow, and she said "yes, it's $5". Again - maybe I am used to my home studio being more understanding and humane about some of these policies, but I was so turned off by her attitude. To top it off, she then went back to the desk to complain to the other girls there, and they forgot to start the class on the big screen! Ultimately, I felt this studio was unaccommodating, unprofessional, and poorly run.
