I love Orange Theory! I feel as though I have really found a gym that makes me enjoy working out again! It's also great they offer various packages for memberships.

Good, clean place. The staff are nice and helpful, too. Pretty much all the machines are always working. A good variety of classes offered.

Signed up to try my first class today, walk in at 9:25 for a 9:45 class and got turned away because I did not show up at 9:15. Paperwork does not take more than 5 minutes to fill out. Spoke to someone at this location at 9 am and told them I was on my way and the lady on the phone never said I would be turned away if I do not arrive EXACTLY 30 minutes before class. No one has time to arrive 30 minutes before a work out class, we have lives outside this sh** hole Orange Theory. Terrible customer service and way to run a business. I would not recommend this place. They just lost at least 2+ unlimited memberships from my friends and I.

Nice gym and staff.

Did you know they have a 60 day cancellation policy? When you decide it is time to cancel your membership, even the day after you sign up, they will inform you that to cancel you must sign a new form they will only give you at the gym. That form adds new terms to your agreement, by signing you will agree to pay any future membership payments for the next 30 days. Which means when it's time to cancel, you need to do it 2 months in advance.

Even better, they clearly will inform you that they can and will take you to collections if you do not pay for this unwanted 2nd month.

I was personally called 3 times by the Lakeview "COO" Jerry, for the purpose of harassing and intimidating me into unblocking my card so OTF could extract future payments 27 days after canceling.

If the above sounds cool to you, I recommend this gym. The staff onsite is nice if you can stomach the fraud and abuse.

When cancelling my membership they made me physically come in person to this location (after explaining i have a new job and travel M-F they wouldn't even fax me the document). One month after i cancelled they charged me $189. I called and they explained even when you cancel you get charged one more time. This was not the message that was explained when i physically came to this location to cancel. The manager was not willing to work with me on waiving the charge. She kept explaining i could come in for the next month, which makes no sense because i'm cancelling for a reason... currently waiting for the next supervisor to call me. Disappointed with the customer service and the amount of trickery that's involved when being a member.

Let me start by saying, I LOVE Orange Theory - it is my favorite fitness concept. I was very disappointed with my experience at this facility. First, I had a friend that was looking to try the class for the first time. I understand the policy of arriving 30 minutes early, and she arrived over 20 minutes early - I was absolutely shocked when they didn't let her take the class. Again, I get the policy, but the class was not crowded, and there were 3 other people standing around at the front desk that could have easily done a quick run through with the potential client. The instructor can't even take you into the studio until the class was done - I was appalled that they would turn away a potential client, and opportunity for revenue, because of a "policy" - a policy that is 30 minutes, because they assume people will be late. Then, I was traveling in from out of town and had my heart rate band - when I signed up for the class, the girl at the front desk didn't ask for my monitor number - I had to remember before class started. She then brought it to me and said in a condescending way "you have 10 minutes left". So, I asked if they had a monitor to borrow, and she said "yes, it's $5". Again - maybe I am used to my home studio being more understanding and humane about some of these policies, but I was so turned off by her attitude. To top it off, she then went back to the desk to complain to the other girls there, and they forgot to start the class on the big screen! Ultimately, I felt this studio was unaccommodating, unprofessional, and poorly run.

This Orange Theory Fitness is really a great solution to so many things that make working out hard to keep doing. I have fun there - it's motivating to be in a group. The instructors are encouraging. It's great to see your results on the screen and summarized on daily, weekly and yearly basis' in the followup emails. The music is phenomenal. I love it.

Great community feel keeps you motivated during workouts and encouraged to come back day after day. Fun and exhausting - great work outs!

The high energy from all the coaches is the first thing I've noticed. I'm sure they're all great, but I've taken most of my classes with Dana, Kate, and Kevin (with Ashley as a floor coach at times) and they not only bring energy, they also genuinely care about clients getting better results and ensure we're doing the workouts with correct form (and push the intensity)Beyond that, the zone training is good for me. I'm competitive yet lazy. Here's where zone training helped me. i've been working out at LP Orange Theory since January. I've had to increase my push and all out running speeds to get to the proper heart rate zone. Without that competition to see orange or red, I may not have increased my speed. I would have just been happy that I didn't have to work as hard to maintain the same speed. Now, I know that I can't allow myself to get comfortable and when I'm feeling that a speed is easier, I have the reminder right in my face to run faster.

Tough workout, but never boring. Upbeat and positive coaches that push you to do your best. I have definitely seen a difference in my body since starting Orangetheory

fun workout, the trainers are helpful and everyone is really helpful your first time

The coaches and crew working at the Chicago Lincoln Park location are top shelf! I attend 2-3 times per week with my wife and 2-3 of our friends, and it is one of the highlights of our social/fitness calendar. So glad you are here.

First of all, the coaches are knowledgeable, instructions are clear and easy, they incorporate a variety of exercises and intervals while encouraging individuals to listen to your body and go at your own pace, and the heart rate monitor screen with real time feedback is another fun stimulant. The group setting promotes accountability and motivation, and pushes me further than I am disciplined to push myself on my own. I leave every 50 min session dripping with sweat and exhausted, and that's how I like to start the day.
