I've been going to SoNo for almost two years, making it the longest I've committed to anything in years (ha!) and the longest I've committed to fitness ever. On the days I go to class, my hour in the gym is literally the only hour of my day that I am not worried, anxious, or preoccupied.
The space is small, but has everything you need to get a great workout in. Class size is limited to 14 people, which means you get a lot of one-on-one attention and feedback from coaches to help improve your technique. Coaches are knowledgable and helpful, and the overall community is inclusive, friendly, and down-to-earth. Even if you're the last one to finish, everyone stays to cheer you on. They also offer nutrition and massage services. There are also small things I really appreciate, like extra hair ties in the bathroom and phone charges.
Lastly, the value really cannot be beat. The different packages are very competitively priced. I did the foundations classes at a different gym over a year before finding SoNo. New members at that gym had to do private sessions that ran $75/session(!), their monthly packages were twice the price of SoNo's, and their community was a bunch of Navy Seal wannabes.
