As a professional dancer I've been coming here for auditions and classes for 10 years, and it offers the largest number dance classes and variety out of any studio in Chicago. It is also one of two places in Chicago that offers professional ballet class every weekday!

I have been a dancer for 22 years constantly learning new styles of art form and growing. I came to Lou Conte to refresh on hip hop choreography since I've been out of practice for a year doing another art form. This lady Krista was stuck up and condescending. She is a manager and teacher there. Teachers should be encouraging and instead she tried explaining how hip hop music is fast and that I should take a basic class since I'm just starting. She didn't care to ask how much training I had she just assumed I was a beginner and ran her mouth in a way that put me off the studio entirely. I'm never going back.
We enjoyed hanging out here during SYTYCD auditions.
I've only taken a few classes at Lou Conte, but I was very impressed with the instructors and the politeness of the staff, if you love dance and want to get a little exercise in as well this is the place for you
