The little voice in my head said, "You can't kickbox, silly. You're too stiff, out of shape, and just plain uncoordinated."
But every day I walked past 9Round, I saw people inside punching like Rocky and doing roundhouse kicks like Swayze. I was intrigued.
So, I signed up for the free workout. And it was awesome!
I'm so glad I went. Seriously, if you are on the fence, just do it.
The trainers are incredibly supportive. As a beginner, the trainers took care of me by coaching me on how to move, punch, and kick without falling on my butt. Then they slowly build your intensity up over time.
Never in a million years did I think I would be eager to go work out. It's not boring because the workouts change every day.
Did I mention, there's no class time? I'm an instant gratification kind of gal and this place delivers. Never a wait time even when it's busy.
The little voice has been squelched. My doubts conquered. Clothes are fitting better! Legs and arms have been looking toned! I even have more energy these days.
