I was taking a private Pilates session with Nadia today. The atmosphere at Spring Pilates is very warm and welcoming and I really can recommend Nadia! She is a very charming teacher and she did take care of my needs. Go and check it out!

I had an opportunity to take a yoga class here through Lululemon Southport. It was a little hard to find the entrance at first, but I made it on time. Each classroom is quite small so you have to cuddle your mat buddies throughout your practice. My class was taught by David and he was a fabulous instructor. He suggested the use of props that I hadn't experienced before and allowed me to reach deeper hip openings. I would like to try a Pilates class here as well - their equipment seems very nice!

I've been loving yoga and fitness classes at Spring since 2012. The studio is located on the second floor - the giant picture windows and vintage tin ceiling add a unique charm to the space.

The variety of yoga classes and instructors means I can take an athletic, energized class when I'm feeling ambitious or a refreshing restorative class when I need to decompress.

The TRX classes and Kettlebell classes are truly multi-level. I was intimidated at first, but Alex is great at queuing up sequences and suggesting modifications that result in a great workout no matter your fitness level. The TRX/Kettlebell fusion classes are the best - and are routinely full, so reserve your spot in advance.

This studio even offers my newest interest, core barre classes. This is a fun, new challenge and proving to be a great way to keep my workouts diversified.

The staff at Spring are thoughtful, you can tell they have a great passion for their work. Often times instructors are giving personal attention and insight before and after class, not just during class.

I highly recommend this studio to anyone in the North Center, Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, Roscoe Village, and Lakeview area. Charming environment, challenging classes, and passionate instructors.

My review is for yoga classes at Spring 2, at 3940 N. Lincoln. I bought a deal for a 5-pack of yoga classes. I'm a runner, and view yoga as a good recovery/injury prevention workout. However, I have been schooled. Yoga is a kick-ass workout in it's own right. I'll admit, most of my prior yoga experience had been yoga classes at various gyms, and maybe a couple beginner classes elsewhere - so not really "serious" yoga. But Spring is definitely a place to practice yoga for yoga's sake, no matter your level.

I figured since I can run long distances like they're NBD, yoga would be a breeze. However, Jill's class on Monday evenings is awesome, and I actually break a sweat, which surprised me at first. For the first time, I got to see some serious legit yoga being practiced around me. Jill was incredibly encouraging of my obviously n00b status, and everything we did was applicable for any level - she would offer up different moves depending on how long you've been practicing. Seeing other students in the class doing crow pose, headstands and even attempting scorpion pose certainly humbled me and also encourged me to perhaps consider practicing yoga for yoga's sake (something I was never inspired to consdier after all those gym yoga classes). I definitely want to keep going to classes at Spring at the "normal" prices.
