Moksha is an awesome place to start learning yoga. Everyone is so welcoming. It's not just a yoga studio, it's a community.
Great classes. Instructor are friendly and very knowledgeable. The space is calm, clean and inviting. Appreciate that they offer community classes so you can try classes before committing. Will keep coming back.
Highly Recommended! My Yoga home for years and helped me tremendously! Yoga in the most authentic forms of Asana while also dealing with the other seven limbs.. Many different classes and styles for people with various levels of experience as well as many work shops and events. Amazing teachers and staff! Please check the website and take a class. I've attended classes, workshops, and trainings here for years now and still consider it my favorite studio. The teachers are well trained, the staff are friendly, and the space is beautiful.
From the bottom of my heart, Moksha Yoga Center is fantastic. I have been able to come and practice yoga in a safe, supportive and loving environment. Everyone here is genuinely kind and encourages challenge. No trouble with administration whatsoever. Folks behind the desk have answered all my questions about class details and rates.

The studios are beautiful and the teachers are wonderful. They've cultivated an atmosphere of support and non-competition to a level I don't see at a lot of other studios.
To be real, this place is a really nice studio. Ive met some amazing teachers Lilly and Emily and really the teachers make the studio so so far ive been very impressed
I attended a weekend of workshops at this studio a few weeks ago after pre-paying for the event. It has come to my attention that the instructor was NEVER paid for her time and work, and apparently this happens often. I am so disappointed in this studio and the fact that my money did not go to the source intended.

Moksha is a great place to practice. Teachers are great and there are lots of options in terms of styles and schedules.

Crazy person handles the email at Moksha. They have 3 locations. Well one day i get an email from them promoting an event. They specified the time and date but not the location. They didn't put an address or an intersection or neighborhood or anything. I pointed out by email that they didnt put their adress in a promo tbey emailed, and he or she said they expected peoples memory to be better than that ! But they have 3 locations ! Seemed very hurt and went on the attack. Obviously this person cant handle a fact being pointed out, and took it as a personal criticism. Then later i got 1 or 2 more emails with snarky remarks.
Also, sometimes the yoga room floors have been dirty and dusty. Noisy yoga studio with the elevated train nearby

Moksha also has a teacher training program which has spawned many of the excellent teachers you find throughout the Chicago yoga scene.
Moksha's India retreats are top notch, balancing the serene Indian beaches and temples with power purifying practices of yoga and Ayurveda.
