Cardio, strength, and free-weights - what more could a girl ask for? It's clean and things work. I dont like the cubbies for storing my personal items and wish they had lockers, but that's the worst of it. Staff is friendly and people seem to care there.

Do not go to this club. It is extremely difficult to cancel at this club. They will charge you for an extra month for nothing at all. You will have to cancel and send a 30 day notice through snail mail. Also, for 35 a month this isn't worth it. The club smells like sewage and some of the equipment is broken. I've never had a problem with Anytime before but because of this experience I will never join an Anytime again.

It's okay. Decent stock of equipment compared to the median anytime facility. 2 racks.
Equipment is scattered and disorganized. 3 water rowers were broken, and the one that worked will bounce when you try get a good long pull.
No weight belts. I repeat, no weight belts. If you're from out of town and need to squat, this is probably not the gym for you. I'll try the crossfit box next time, seems like the only way to get a decent workout.

Garbage cancellation policy. Apparently they are the only company in 2018 that can't just hit a button to stop my membership. Absolutely terrible. You have to write a letter....again...in 2018... not an email, not a phone call (of which I tried both) to cancel the membership 30 days from the time they receive it. This is a complete scam and a joke. I haven't gone in months and I've been getting charged, that's on me...but then they want to charge me the semi annual fee AND my monthly membership fee in the time it takes to get the letter...which is not 30 days. So let's run through this for those in the back that didn't hear it.
1. Call Anytime, referred to their billing company because I"m unable to get their during normal business due to my work.
2. Call billing company, and told I have to send a hand written letter in 2018 and then it takes 30 days to process, all the while I'm being charged.
Either this is the most inefficiently run company in the world, or they are scam artists. Either way, save your money, pick a different gym.

The gym facilities is fine but the entry system is very unreliable. The door works on an electronic fob system that doesn't always unlock the door. This has happened to me several times in the last month at the wicker park and other locations. I have only been a member for a month so the probability of not getting in is too high. For someone who works out at 3am, being locked out at that hour is unacceptable. Calling the customer service number doesn't present a solution either. Until a better system is set up, I would be weary of signing up for the early risers.

A large variety of classes for anyone. Teachers here are amazing. I always leave with a great workout!

I visited during a business trip to Chicago. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location has a variety of machines and cardio equipment. There are a limited number of squat racks and bench stations compared to other locations, so one may have to wait for one to open up if it is busy.

Would have been a good review but based on miscommunication from their staff over my canceled membership my experience was sour! Make sure to read the fine print where they screw you out of your money within the 30 day period that they so conveniently forget to mention to you even after I checked with their staff three times over the matter prior to being charged for the upcoming month!

Check out their ratings on BBB or consumer affairs before you sign anything with this gym. They are also known as ABC Financial.
Good luck trying to get out of the membership if you want to leave after your contract is over. The gym told me I can only canceling by mailing their parent company ABC Financial Certified Mail. And ABC Financial told me I can only cancel by sending the gym a piece of certified Mail. They have ensured that I will be charged for infinity? Let's state what becomes obvious when you arrive THERE'S NO PARKING LOT. This is basically s local gym for locals in walking distance. I'm not a local but I was in the area for business since I'm a Anytime member I figured I'd drive on by. That was a nightmare I ended up walking a city block to get from the car to the gym in the Chicago cold I might add.
Once inside I realized I was in what felt like a old basement gym minus the hardcore iron and bodybuilders. This place is small but even Anytime standards. I kept bumping into people and it wasn't crowded it's just a small very tight space.
The gym itself compared to other Anytime locations is a 3 but no parking I really want to give it a zero.

Solid gym. I joined about a month ago and have been very happy with it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Open 24 hours which is huge for me. Very affordable as well.

This place is great! There is a good variety of machines, and they are always adding more so if something is missing, just ask. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was nervous when I first started and they helped me figure out what would work for me!

I've lived in Humboldt Park for over 25 years now. When we moved in, it was a much rougher neighborhood. I'm so proud to see my neighborhood thrive and prosper over the last few years. This gym is one of the best changes we've seen in the neighborhood - and something we desperately needed. I lost my dear husband Marty to a heart attack last year - the rudest wake up call. My daughter and I both joined Anytime Fitness shortly after. After the first few visits, I realized I was in much worse shape than I thought. Fortunately, we had a session scheduled with James on my third day of joining and he helped me tremendously. Even at my age, you can learn a thing or two about a thing or two. In just one free session, he was able to give me exercises that are helping correct my posture and align my spine, and helping me build muscle and improve my range of motion. I'm already starting to feel better than I have in decades. I've been able to become more active with my grandkids. My Marty would be so proud to see me go to the gym every day - I only wish we had joined while he was still here. Thank you anytime fitness for making it easy and comfortable for an old lady to get back on track.

Love my new gym. So far, my experience has been top notch. The space is welcoming and classy (they even have a swanky chandelier). The equipment is brand new and there are a lot of options. Staff is super friendly and helpful. This is not my first gym - so far, super happy with it.

I love the convenient location. I love that I can take a class anytime, by video. The club is super clean, super friendly. Great selection of equipment, plenty of weights - they have 3 racks and a lat blaster (hard requirements for me). Love that i can go Anytime!
