Yes, the staff is great and the equipment is good but the parking situation is absolutely awful!!! The parking garage they currently have is across a very busy street. It doesn't feel safe walking around the garage or taking the stairs to get to different floors in the parking garage. I have seen homeless people sneaking in there many, many times so be careful if you're a woman especially. If I don't find space on the first floor or street parking (it's usually packed) I'll just leave to the archer location. That's the only downfall of this gym but it's a huge one!
For some women working out is hard already but if you a mommy like me and trying to get back on track they have the kids club which they treat my son amazing!! Thank you ladies the night shift is very friendly
Front desk could use some training sessions on how to treat customers. Sometimes a thank you and a welcome to la fitness is the least a front desk rep can do. But they struggle to even do that. Only person at the front shouldnt wait to be acknowledged or checked in despite what you are doing. I wish the sales staff was as energetic when they have to cover the front is all. Never have this issue with staff in the suburbs.
Good gym..only issue I had was someone stole my blue puma sweater from the locker room..who steals a used sweater??? Besides that is a good gym, has all the machines to get a good workout and overall is clean considering how many people go here.

Love the stuff... Monica, Alex, Jasmin, Raymundo... Really chill and u can find all you need, from personal training, advices, diet plans. Payment plans suited to your goals and budget. U just gotta be willing to take that next step and talk to these guys... thank you guys for all your help and appreciate you all!! Huge thumbs up and 5+ stars!!
The gym is fine but the staff and the manager are not friendly or helpful. They seem indifferent with the customers and just talk and joke around amongst themselves. Id rather visit another location.
The showers are terrible. They are dirty with no liquid soap at times. I have also seen showers without curtains and broken soap dispensers. There have been times when only cold water comes out of those showers.
If they can clean and fix those showers, it would be a better experience for me.

The facility is clean. The classes are great. The pool is clean. Nothing to complain about yet lol.

Great place, much bigger than I thought, staff is courteous and always willing to show you how to operate a machine or do an exercise. Clean facilities also
Typical LA Fitness. Not super clean, somehow missing at least 2 barbells, but it's close to where I work and it gets the job done.
It's a busy location, it needs some cleaning in the women locker rooms, washroom and sauna. There used to be a lady that did the maintenance before and she kept it pretty clean now it's some new ppl. Tunnel never works so u have to play chicken crossing the busy street Kedzie and when it rains parking garage floods. Dont go during Zumba or boot camp classes if you want to do cardio because then you will have to wait for a machine to become available it gets super crowded.

The young lady in the opening shift always has a smile and when she greets. When I first started going I had no clue how to use the wieghts and when I asked the front desk in the evening shift how can I use them or if there was someone to show me early in the morning he stated to contract a personal trainer. This is an issue because if with that response but im sure the faculty there have not been trained properly so I expected that.

Therw is not area for boxing, I wish they would get boxing bag and area for this activity.

Its great and all but theres some people who dont clean after themselves
I like the gym it's pretty good and I been seeing improvements in myself but 1 star because my brother got rejected a 14 day guess pass and wasn't able to exercise just because he wasn't interested in getting the membership and when corporate called the gym after my brother complain to then the manager coincidentally he went on break.... Don't give passes of people won't be able to use them...
Really Convenient parking, pretty packed in the evenings, free weights are always all over the place. Some of those buff front desk guys seem kinda douchy and smugg though. If you care about customer service you'll be disappointed.
The manager of this places SUCKS , my wife went for the 14 days past to try the gym and decide if we change from the old gym unfortunately she face this manager and he argument that hi prefer people who pay the membership to use the equipment and not new people just to try ( what a stupid idea) we never go back to this place... to bad for LA FITNESS to have this kind of people working for them.

Called front desk at the Kedzie Ave. L.A. Fitness location and the traning director, Monica, was very helpful and friendly . She helped resolve an issue that the staff at another L.A. Fitness location was unwilling to offer the few minutes it would have taken resolve a simple situation. Also, a shout out to Ryan who assisted her!

Love the classes. Bathroom/locker room is clean. The studio floor needs attention.
Place is beginning to slack off. Machines not really getting cleaned. And some have brocken down. Washrooms are a mess, what? People forgot how to flush after use? Some treadmills still had dried food in pockets, screen's had dried sweat splatter on them. There was areas where alcohol wipes were seen and used. Starting to look like the pershing gym.
This is a pretty good gym. Staff is very friendly. The facility is kept clean considering some people are highly inconsiderate and messy in the locker rooms. Zumba with betty is a must. It's such a great class. The trainers work with you and keep you motivated so if your weightloss goals are serious, i highly recommend them. Especially edwin and jose they are fantastic! There are some very friendly people that come except some people that take the zumba class who are so extreme. It's hilarious. But, they're also completely disrespectful to one of the trainers that gives a boot camp class that comes included when you sign up for personal training. I read a comment that said this place was hood and i disagree, i think its just a few people acting ignorant. Beware of that. For people who just had a great time in this class they sure come out angry and hostile. I'm all for speaking up for whats right but they just act like they own the place. Still, it's an excellent addition to the community to maintain or become healthy.
All of the Staff is very helpful and friendly. I was working with the G.M assistant to find the best and most suitable plan for my membership. So he helped me to find the best one as far as my financial situation. The staff worked through all of it with us until we found a right fit.!!!!

This gym is located in a very convenient and accessible location. You will always find parking in the gym's ample 4 story parking facility across the street; complimentary with your membership. The gym itself is always crowded. You need to wait in line to use the machines. Front desk personnel is not always friendly, but overall the gym is well kept and clean. Temperature inside of gym is often too hot when gym is busy. This could be due to poor ventilation throughout the facility or a refusal from gym management to turn up the A/C
