It's a good "women-only" type of environment. Everyone is friendly and motivating. The daycare staff is very nice, attentive and loving with the kids, but the day care toys are a little dirty compared to other daycares. The machines aren't the newest, but they get the job done. The gym could benefit from a professional cleaning once a week, as all businesses with high traffic could.
All in all the staff and classes are great with big potential. The instructors are very motivating and many of them have truly inspiring success stories. But In the end it is our workout and we decide how far we push ourselves to reach our own goals.
The facility is nice and big, but could use a little more TLC.

Very rude manager, Veronica. Having issues signing up through their app. I have done everything they have requested and still face issues signing up for my personal training classes, which I pay extra for, you would think she would treat you with a little more respect and courtesy, but it never happens. She always has to respond with a patronizing comment. Take a break from the hostile attitude! The only good thing of the gym are the trainers Cesar and Danitra. Hope management can get it together! Management gets 1 start, trainers listed above get 5 stars!

By far the worst experience ever. The machines are outdated and I was misinformed by one of the employees on the guest policy. One bit of advice for the manager is to educate her staff on the membership policies. A waste of time on their end and my end. The front desk individual, Diana was really unprofessional, kept cutting me off and would not let me speak. I was being lectured and humiliated instead of informed. If you are working with customers on a day to day basis be more professional and understanding. Situations are escalated for people like her who do not treat the members with respect and courtesy. Avoid going here and spend your money on a more dated gym with helpful staff.

The bathrooms could be cleaner. Functional training equipment is limited to classes only

You feel safe and confident to focus on working out. Unlike other gyms, this one is only for women. But the staff are really helpful. I lost 10 pounds by only going a couple of times so far.

This gym needs someone to specifically clean , and they're the staff is not very friendly . They close at 2pm Saturday and Sunday but turn their lights off on members at 1:52! So rude.

I really like but I wish they had later hours.

Gym is OK. Staff is friendly, but they need to hire experienced cleaning personnel as gym is dirty compared to Planet Fitness. Zumba music is old and awful. Also, their weekend hours are limited. They close at 2. Not cool.

Writing as the Lawrence Avenue location in Chicago signed me up as a member, taking a join up fee and a monthly fee on April 20, 2017 then I find out May 5, 2017 they are closing. I wanted my money back, at least the sign up fee if not the monthly fee, and the corporate representative tells me they "can't do that" for me. Yes, you can... but you won't. I only went once because I got obliterated by the flu. I was a member at that location for years in the past, and this W3 was always inching up the membership fees for the same dump with a lack of classes. I guess I am not surprised they are closing. Since W3 is walking distance from my apartment, I decided to give them another chance just in time to get ripped off, by woman running a female-oriented business who feels it is okay to pocket my sign up fee on a location that was going to close. Meanwhile, Planet Fitness has a $5 join up fee and $10 a month deal going right now. Take your money someplace else that is not taking advantage of its members. This company can take its ugly purple walls and fake "girl power" marketing and shove it.

I agree ... I started W3 in '86 & checked out tried all W3 clubs. Hometown & Tinley Pk. were the best. Very clean, machines were ALWAYS working & the best cardio classes. They closed the wrong locations!! Kedzie gym is not in a good area. Now after all these yers I'm looking for a new gym. Not happy.

The place is good but can't afford it prices have gone up like if it's a 5 star gym no clean anything floors are filty, bathrooms not to mention ever since management has changed and closed so many gyms they want to come up with there losses but glad I wasn't on a contract and glad I found something that I could afford and nothing crowded and a nice environment where I don't feel like all they want is money. Plus I think day care is filty and it should Come with your membership since no pool. Don't have anything to offer you but a contract with loosing your money. Its in a very bad area but if prices go up updates to the gym should too I left the gym and hope anyone that isn't a memeber don't sign for something that they'll regret.

This place is very motivational and geared towards over all health with a very supportive team.
