I speak from experience.Leon the gym's manager leads a well balanced team of courteous, competent and motivated professionals to take on any challenges. Don't be fooled by Dina's size. She's a knowledgeable and passionate fitness trainer that'll provide proper guidance to meet your fitness goals. Highly recommend Dina and this gym.
This gym has a variety of equipment which is great! It also offers team fitness classes that I've been attending which have been very helpful in helping me become stronger. The staff are always friendly and willing to help.
I've been coming to this location since it opened. I find the staff to be courteous kind and knowledgeable. Leon the manager leads well with a group of employees who give a smile and can be very motivating. The gym is fairly clean. People are welcome here. I'm glad I'm a member.
I have to say this place has improved ever since the old manager left. New management has improved the quality of the place. The staff is friendly and helpful per usual. This is a great gym for anyone looking to get fit, lose weight, maintain a healthy lifestyle or just stay active.
Love this place! Super comfortable atmosphere to work out in. Clean facility, friendly staff and fellow members. I recommend Bo as a trainer! He is very kind and pushes you to be your best!
I really love this gym now!! I recently came back after cancelling because of old management and now I can honestly say I love it! The new management is great and it reflects on his staff and the environment. Would definitely recommend joining because it's so affordable. The hydromassage bed a plus too!

Update: This gym is great I come here everyday! When you first enter through ghose doors your are welcomed by their friendly staff. The manager is doing an exceptional job at maintaining the machines and gym equipment as well. The environment is open to people who want to start bettering themselves or people who want to further their physique. If you ask for help whether it be from an employee or another person training they would gladly help you as they want everyone to succeed. All this for only 10 a month you can't beat it anywhere.9/8/18
This is an amazing place to workout. The staff is extremely helpful and involved. It is kept clean and the machines are maintained very well. The new manager Leon has been doing great the machines are getting fixed in a timely manner now that he is here compared to the old manager Steve.
The facility is a great place to have a good workout at. The trainers are really helpful/motivating. I recommend having Bo as your trainer because he will definitely help you get the body/muscles you want!
This gym, is the best gym I have ever been to. The trainers and the staff are an amazing bunch of people. The facility is always clean and friendly. I come here every single day because i feel at home when working out. The trainers here will help you out with your personal health goals. I know they get me sweating. I can guarantee anyone who is thinking of joining at this Charter Fitness facility will enjoy the environment. Cheers and get your sweat on!

This gym is solid. It has everything you need plus a hydromassage bed. You can't beat the price. Only 2 squat racks but I've only had to wait 10 minutes max.

Respectful desk staff great place to workout, it is true there is one machine or two that doesn't work but you can clearly see is the people destroying them. Overall a good experience.

Basic gym with machines, treadmills, and weights. In order to use the studios you need to pay and have private trainer session.
I used to be an L.A. fitness member and to this date i dont regret changing over to charter. This place is clean and the crew here treat me with respect and greet me every morning. I dint give it 5 stars because many of their lockers are missing hooks to hang my clothes. I dont have any complaints about the employees here. I dont really care for the machines since i only use free weights, bench press and squat rack.
Honestly worst experience here, some of the front desk staff stare, point fingers and criticize other members. The manager himself not only made me feel uncomfortable but also the other person that was with me. All he does is cross his arms and does absolutely nothing when any problem is brought to him.
The gym is good i like it i heve been charter member for ever and never have problems the only problem now is the manager he is a dick and rude for costumers and employes i dont know how he still got the job? Everybody complain about him! Charter are losing costumers because of him!!!
The worst customer service ever. Got a flyer in mail for $1 dollar down and $10 dollars a month with a free month if you join on Tuesday.
Went to sign up, but of course hidden fee of $39.95 for initiation fee!
And that initiation fee of $39.95 is no where on the flyer. Very very sad.
This is false advertising.
Then the manger was in your face with yelling when i told him to honor the flyer. He of course told me to dam bad, and hit the road.
Is anyone honest anymore?? Please BOYCOTT THIS PLACE. Just amazing that this place can get away with this stuff.
This is based on a few individual factors. 1, conveniently close to the Pulaski orange line ( easy to go before or after work or a trip to the city-say a quick without before taking your bike to ride by the lake or Beach?) 2, it's literally right next to jewel so you could knock out a few errands or pick up a quick bottle. 3, close to home. 4, spacious and clean. 5, great price , 20 bucks for all locations pass and I can bring a guest. 6, good management and staff. 7, I only wish it was a bit bigger and had more equipment- but for the location and price it's well worth it

The gym has good amount of equipment but so many of them are disrepair.
The manager does not care about the gym equipment and when you said something about it, he always answer with evasive words.
This gym is good affordable and pretty much has everything you need to get down to business.
