I really like coming here. Ive been to a few boxing clubs and have had a few trainers but Lou is the real deal. I have not met anyone who is as devoted to his team as Lou. Yes I said TEAM. Instead of just feeling like another student I feel like I am part of something more. Like a small family. I encourage anyone who wants to learn the ins and outs of boxing to come check it out.

I trained with Lou for 8 months in both group and individual sessions. In that time I got in very good shape and learned how to throw a few pretty good punches.

Sessions with Lou are always a mix of learning technique and working out. Some workouts are moderately hard, others will make you feel like you're going to throw up, but in a good way. Lou will push you to your limit, but not past. As long as you're giving every workout your best effort, you'll be fine.

You will occasionally get a chance to spar. Sparring always starts with light, slow punches and gradually gets faster and harder. Lou is good about watching for sparrers who are punching too hard for the situation and keeping them in line.

I recommend taking boxing lessons from Lou.
