I love xsport but this one didn't have any clean towels I couldn't understand that.

Put some effort in the enforcement of racking weights and cleaning equipment.
Apparently no one here has any gym etiquette.

First time here with a friend. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The place was pretty clean and plenty of equipment to use. They also had paper towels & sanitizer readily available. I'll probably end up getting a membership.

Signed up and paid for the first and last month in advance. Made a mistake of not taking a try out pass. Very disappointed in the facility. Very unorganized mess. There seem to be no enforced rules about putting the equipment back to its place. I dont even use the dumbbell section. The weights are scattered all over the place. Same goes for barbell weight. I havent seen once an employee come and regularly put equipment where it belongs , nor clean the place. Other gyms have employees regularly putting weights away. Or at least enforce the culture of people doing so themselves. So this first and last month i prepaid, is the last time .

Change locations, no way in he'll you should be paying 39.99 going here, I went because it was closer but I'll go to Lyons that's 25 mins further than go back here, they are all rude especially the Gm , lil swole guy with glasses .

The staff is a bit rude not all of them like 2 or 3 also when I signed up they're really unprofessional they should at least go over your membership and what your getting and the rules because apparently they have rules I wasn't aware of and the person who signed me up didn't mention anything about it. I got the $19.95 membership the first issue I had was that the day I brought a guest with me the girl at the front desk didn't want to let him in because he didn't have an ID on him which I thought was stupid. The other issue is that after 9 pm they don't allow guest another stupid rule does the time really matter does it make a difference so we had to go back home because they guy didn't let us in. so then from what time to what time are we allowed to bring a guest ? that has to be one of the stupidest thing I ever heard. oh another thing they took THE PAYMENT AUTOMATICALLY WHEN I CLEARLY TOLD HIM I DIDNT NOT WANT IT ON AUTO PAY WHAT PART OF THAT DID HE NOT UNDERSTAND. HE SAID THE SIGNED UP FEE WAS A DOLLAR I HANDED HIM MY DEBIT CARD AND HE ASKED ME IF I WANTED IT TO BE USE ON AUTO PAY I SAID NO. FEW DAYS LATER I CHECK MY BANK ACCOUNT AND I SEE THAT THEY HAD CHARGED ME WITHOUT MY CONSENT.

They take a long time to repair the damaged equipment, I told the staff about a treadmill in malfunction over a month ago and it was not repaired, and the only thing they answer here in the comments is "send us an email". What do they want the staff there?

Have been going to this location for a while now and it gets worse with every day that passes. Dumbbell sections smells like a rat died there, barbells are nowhere to be found, trainers take dumbbells and don't put em back, and the list goes on. The only reason I go there is because it is walking distance, but i am going to start going to a different location because this is starting to get out of hand. This location needs more people to maintain it throughout the day.

I cancelled my membership and still getting charge. I was told to bring in the cancellation form or they were going to keep taking the fee. No cancellation form was ever given to me after I signed it and there is nothing they can do as far as refund without it? I don't waste time going back to talk to people with attitude. You better change your debit car or else they'll take your money.

Small gym but cozy. Friendly staff and clean gym. Can be crowded in the afternoon. Open 24 hours which is a plus.

Probably one of the dirtiest gyms in the area.Glad I registered at the Portage park location. The bathroom is disgusting you smell the must before you even get in. Nobody cleans this bathroom whatsoever I've been coming a couple times here and it's always the same thing no one is in front and the gym is dirty.

Clean gym, friendly, knowledgable, helpful staff. I recommend this place for anyone who's serious about their health or trying to get back into a routine. The personal trainers are the absolute best and keep it fun and really get you to your goals.

PROS:
They have good trainers who take their jobs seriously, like my trainer Anabelle. She is very professional and makes training both challenging and fun. She will assess what you are comfortable with then push you past your comfort zone, but not in an aggressive way. You WILL sweat but you will be a better person (if you follow her directions). She's also cute, which is a plus.
They have various cardio and weight machines. They also have lots of free weights available. The staff is usually friendly.
CONS:
Between 5pm and 8pm-ish is a very busy time, especially in the free weights area.
My locker was broken in to and they took my shoes and sweats. Who takes someone's smelly gym clothes? ALWAYS take your clothes home EVERYDAY. Some machines have been broken because jerks don't use them correctly, but they tend to get repaired rather quickly. I wish they had more plant-based options for protein.
MOSTLY PRO/ALMOST NOT A CON:
There are a LOT of beautiful women that go to this gym. If you are a man who likes women or a woman that likes women, you will need Jedi-like focus sometimes to concentrate on your workout and not be creepy and stare, though it is motivation to get to the gym everyday.

Great machines for legs. Also has a sauna in their locker room. Smaller place but I enjoy going there. The staff is very welcoming as well.

Horrible ... they have a parking lot across .. Don't park there .. they'll bust your windows and xsport has no cameras so the bad guys get away with stealing... No it's not xsports fault but be careful when you park your car.
