Great variety of classes, especially if you are seeking an additional mindfulness or spiritual perspective. Outstandingly nice and friendly staff and attendees. I was disappointed by one class I attended that was much more "woo-woo" than I expected based off the class description, but others in this class seemed to enjoy themselves.
Though it's a nice facility, and friendly people, once they get your email and phone number, they do not respect your wishes. Despite promising to remove me from their email lists, I'm still receiving their SPAM, and phone calls for deals. You'd think a place like this would be better at respecting people. Think twice before sharing your contact info with them.

I am so happy to have stumbled across this place. Location is convenient for me and they have many class options 7 days a week. The teachers are great and there's a wonderful variety so I can choose classes depending on what I need that day. I like how the quality of the studio seems corporate run but the classes and style of interior is very independently unique and the classes value the core beliefs of yoga. Teachers are allowed to have their own unique style. Very pleased so far.

I have been to all 4 locations of Ahimsa Yoga Studios and all are beautiful. I am so grateful to this place and the people who have taught me over the years. I have always felt safe and free to do what my body needs (not contort into a pose just to get in it). All teachers meet each student where they are at.
Ahimsa is so welcoming and peaceful. Kim Wade is my favorite teacher ever and really takes special effort to help each individual better understand the meanings of each postures as well as ways to create a better awareness of one's body to enhance self-correction. She is an amazing motivator! Thank you Ahimsa for all you do for so many!
Ahimsa had been recommended to me by several fellow yoga teachers as the authentic Oak Park studio with quality instructors. My first experience reflected that and I was warmly welcomed from the start. The teacher provided a solidly cued and sequenced class. The class flowed at a nice pace and the volume of the gentle drumming was perfect. I am looking forward to returning and hope this will be my new studio home.
My daughter has classes with Ms. Kim. We love her. She is such a positive role model. The location is a drive for us but its worth it.

I have been looking for a studio to join for the long-term. I was getting sick of jumping around town to whichever studio was having the best monthly offer. I am glad I found Ahimsa. Everything about the place is great. The space is warm and welcoming. The teachers are friendly and helpful. The teachers will provide adjustments, and always remembers your name. Classes are offered throughout the day, making it possible to find one that works. Sometimes I like to go before work and sometimes after work. Their points program is also amazing! The cost of the monthly membership is lower than most studios, and you get more for your money! I would recommend this studio to all yogis, beginners and advanced.
