Lisa Wellstead has been an invaluable resource and inspiration with my mindfulness journey. Her vast knowledge and experience really inform how she teaches in such a relateable way. It is amazing how subtle shifts in our thinking can create more peace and balance in what can be a crazy world. I have integrated a mindfulness practice in my life (no, it's not perfect, and that's okay - ask Lisa!) and have noticed a profound difference in how I react to life's stressors. I highly recommend Lisa and her workshops!

On my personal journey to greater peace and happiness, Lisa Wellstead has played a crucial role. Lisa's mindfulness teachings have helped me shift my relationship with my mind and body so that I can live a more-compassion-filled life with greater freedom from negative thoughts and emotions. Even if the world around me seems to be going crazy, I now have more capacity to not get caught up in the crazy and make choices that align with the life I want to live.

Lisa has taught me how to deal with the unexpected without reacting! It's amazing the stories we tell ourselves and how a small shift can make such a huge difference in your life and in the lives of those that "get" to be around you. I recently completed the Yoga 101 introduction class. I LOVED it. I was always curious about Yoga but afraid to actually attend a class. I tried East Cobb Yoga Sol after reading recommendations. Lisa Jones teaches the beginners on an easy to follow level. She is also very encouraging to help you build your confidence. I felt so much better after a class. Challenged yet relaxed. I would highly recommend this Yoga class and studio.

I believe my focus and concentration, wellness and happiness has increased using my mindfulness training.

I am just about to wrap up the 8 week class in mindfulness facilitated by Lisa Jones. Lisa is a peaceful, "real", fun loving, professional. She engages the class and is very knowledgeable. The class is thorough and there is plenty of class discussion, activities, reading and meditation at home to reinforce what is taught in class.

With so many "stressors" and competing priorities in our lives these techniques should be practiced by everyone. Lisa teaches mindfulness techniques that can be practiced while you are active and when you are sitting quietly meditating.

I've discovered yoga and it's discovering me. But discovering yoga with the instructors at East Cobb Yoga Sol has been a true awakening. . . literally understanding how to take your body and mind to serve yourself, friends and family with mindfulness.

Owner Lisa Jones has all the great qualities of a sage teacher--spirited, calming, encouraging and able to guide the student (new or experienced) effortlessly through the journey. Her calming and reassuring voice creates a pleasant and comfortable place to learn and appreciate the practice. But don't be fooled. . . . her routines and stretches can test your stamina and endurance--in just a few seconds! And take you to a pleasant and mindful place with an exercise with a morsel of dark chocolate!

The classes are small and the students all mindful with different experience levels, making it fun to see one's progress (like me, as a beginner). These classes have provided me with new and stimulating ways to be in touch with my body (therapeutically) and mind (calm and centered).

If you're looking for a fabulous group of instructors (Mindi, Lisa, Susan) don't stray too far from Lisa and her team. You'll feel grateful after one class. You'll feel amazing thereafter. Enjoy!

I have learned so much from Lisa. I have been able to practice without hurting myself and I am sure it is because Lisa takes the time to make sure I am doing the poses correctly. I am stronger and love the studio. I am so grateful.

This is, by far, the best yoga class I've ever attended. I'm a fitness instructor and have been for over 25 years - I've taken yoga classes all over the US, and no other instructor comes close to having Lisa's knowledge, passion, and commitment to providing the very best class day after day. She is constantly studying and attending courses to learn more so she can provide the safest, most effective, most beneficial classes possible. I started taking Lisa's class after recovering from a tennis-related wrist injury. She kept a very close eye on me for the first several weeks, making sure my alignment was pure in each and every pose. I felt 100% comfortable being under her watchful eye, knowing she wouldn't let me do anything to risk re-injury. I highly recommend Lisa Jones and East Cobb Yoga Sol!

I really love Lisa's yoga classes. She is a lovely person who exudes love, compassion and acceptance. I love how I feel when I walk out of class - to me it is a perfect balance of aerobic exercise, deep stretches, and relaxation. Lisa is very knowledgeable about the body and explains not only how to do each pose, but also its purpose and its benefit. I love how she is able to challenge everybody at their level and the emphasis that everyone must improve at their own pace. The classes are very affordable compared to other options around!

I really love Lisa's yoga classes. She is a lovely person who exudes love, compassion and acceptance.
